  • Publication number: 20130096994
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for automatically parking motor vehicles, comprising a conveyor device, which acts between at least one station for rendering and/or removing a motor vehicle and a plurality of parking spaces, the parking spaces being arranged in a matrix-like manner, being occupied by conveyor pallets that can be moved in the transverse and longitudinal direction and that are used for parking, and having at least one free space without a conveyor pallet for moving the conveyor pallets, and the conveyor device being constructed of conveyor modules that can be lined up in a modular manner in the longitudinal and transverse direction and that comprise a longitudinal conveyor unit, a transverse conveyor unit, and optionally a lifting drive.

  • Publication number: 20040011601
Abstract: An implement includes a driving shaft (1) and a driven shaft (2) to be operatively connected to the driving shaft (1). A tool—for example for mowing, cutting or grinding—is designed and arranged to be connected to the driven shaft (2) to be driven by the driven shaft (2) and by a motor driving the driving shaft (1). A brake (6) includes a first element (8) and a second element (7). The second element (7) engages the driven shaft (2), and it is movable in an axial direction. A unit alternately connects and disconnects the driving shaft (1) and the driven shaft (2). The unit includes a stop (12) and a counter stop (13) transmitting torque. The unit also includes an inclined plane (10) serving to produce an axial movement of the second element (7) of the brake (6) with respect to the first element (8) of the brake (6) for automatic actuation of the brake (6). With the novel implement, the desired braking effect is automatically achieved when the drive is switched off.

  • Patent number: 6035623
Abstract: An open-end spinning device having a spinning rotor housed within a rotor housing which includes a yarn conduit plate for closing the front side of the rotor housing and a conduit plate adapter, defining a mouth area of a yarn conduit guide and including a yarn draw-off jet, which is removeably arranged in a receptacle of the yarn conduit plate and is easily and quickly replaced in connection with the replacement of a rotor, while providing a reliable and tight fastening of the conduit plate adapter in the open-end spinning device. The conduit plate adapter comprises an extension including fixing elements which can be secured by a fixing arrangement which is movably arranged for selectively abutting the fixing elements for fixing the conduit plate adapter within the receptacle of the yarn conduit plate.

  • Patent number: 5690265
Abstract: A device for connecting products composed of stacked and continuously conveyed webs or sheets of paper or the like, wherein the webs or sheets are connected by a wire-like stapling material which can be cut and deformed into individual clamps. The stapling device includes a supply roll with conveying unit for the stapling material, a cutting device for cutting the stapling material to a length required for forming the clamps, a clamp forming unit, a plunger for pushing the formed clamps into the product and a clamp closing unit. The supply roll with the conveying unit, the cutting device and the plunger of the stapling device are mounted on a rotatable drum-shaped body which approximately contacts the product on one side thereof transversely of the conveying direction.

  • Patent number: 4228976
Abstract: An airfoil or wing is connected to the body of an aircraft or spacecraft through a main connector comprising metal and nonmetal components. Tension load take-up loops and a pressure load take-up core are arranged or held in a metal grommet which in turn is centered relative to and integrated with a main connector bushing. Thus, the tension loads are solely introduced into the wing structure through the tension loops and pressure loads are taken up solely by the pressure core, whereby the advantages of fiber compound materials are optimally utilized.

  • Patent number: 4183261
Abstract: The present shackle is especially constructed for securing a wing to the fuselage of an aircraft or of a spacecraft. For this purpose the elements of the shackle intended for taking up pressure and tensile forces as well as the elements providing the necessary structural stability are made of fiber compound materials such as carbon or boron fibers.
