At least one control/monitoring unit is provided to detect any deviation of an actual value of at least one characteristic of the electrical energy supply network from a target value and to generate at least one control signal for setting an electrical component of the member in response to a detected deviation of the actual value.

Abstract: A dishwasher has a washing compartment; an air-guiding channel; and a sorption drying system to dry items to be washed. The sorption drying system includes a sorption compartment with reversibly dehydratable sorption drying material. The sorption compartment is connected to the washing compartment by the air-guiding channel for passage of an air flow. The sorption compartment has a sorption unit with the sorption drying material. The geometric shape of the sorption compartment is such that the sorption unit is provided with a default through-flow direction for the air flow substantially in or against the direction of gravity.

Abstract: A fire protection device for preventing damage to a domestic appliance from a malfunction which occurs in the appliance. The fire protection device includes at least one fault current circuit breaker, which disconnects the electrical supply from the appliance when a fault current is sensed. The fire protection device also includes at least one gas sensor which also disconnects the electrical supply from the appliance when a predetermined quantity of a control gas is sensed in the appliance.

The drying apparatus is provided with a suction port for introducing the air from the washing container into the drying apparatus, a blow-out port for discharging the air from the drying apparatus into the washing container, a conveying section between the suction port and the blow-out port, and a fan for conveying the air from the suction port to the blow-out port via the conveying section with the conveying section having a condensing section with at least one wall operable as a condensing surface upon which the humidity contained in the air condenses.

The foam layer filters out from a dishwashing liquid passed through the foam layer a substantial fraction of particles entrained with the dishwashing liquid and such filtered-out particles are retained in the foam layer.
