  • Patent number: 9020304
Abstract: In order to enable improved or even optimized loading of medical image data, a data type representing the image data is determined in at least one embodiment from the image data in a first step and a data-type-specific default loading strategy is selected according to the data type. The default loading strategy may be refined, in at least one example embodiment, to produce a loading strategy based on additional context data. The context data is obtained for example during an initial assessment of the image data. For this purpose, provision is made in particular for a shared index to be generated in which the context data is stored together with further information associated with the image data of a plurality of objects that are to be examined.

  • Publication number: 20140379377
Abstract: An apparatus, a method and a product for transferring security-critical medical data records via a public network are disclosed. In order to be able to transmit security-critical data sections in pseudonymized form, a pseudonymization function is adaptively applied to the data records. The pseudonymization function is in each case calculated dynamically on the basis of a processing context that has been read in and that takes account of the planned user role, the planned intended use of the data processing and an application context.

  • Patent number: 8610715
Abstract: A method, a monitor control module and system are disclosed for displaying a medical image from a volume dataset on a monitor of a computer-aided device, whereby, in addition to the image a number of orientation images from the volume dataset are to be displayed. In at least one embodiment, the user determines an orientation measurement beforehand, on the basis of which orientation images will be selected from the volume dataset and presented for display with the image. The orientation measurement can be either based on distance or be the result of an anatomic model.

  • Patent number: 8165426
Abstract: A method, an arrangement and a product are disclosed, where a multiplicity of nodes are provided which are designed for processing medical image data. Following determination of the specific workflow for processing the image data in at least one embodiment, local, relevant nodes are determined which have the functionality to execute the particular workflow. The image data are then split into image data subsets, on the basis of the workflow, and are forwarded in dedicated fashion to the relevant nodes for the purpose of processing.

  • Patent number: 8145683
Abstract: A data structure is for storing data including a number of files which each have a file header and a file body. The file header of a respective file contains general information with respect to the respective content of the respective file body of the respective file. Further, the file header of a respective first file additionally contains context information with respect to at least one further file, the file body of which exhibits a material reference to the content of the file body of the respective first file. The file structure and a method are proposed for creating and storing a file which allow an observer to determine in a particularly simple manner the volume and content of the information relevant for the file.

  • Patent number: 8036434
Abstract: A method and a device are disclosed for selecting at least one post-processing method for the post-processing of medical measurement data. In this method, different post-processing components are registered. In addition to the measurement data, context data with respect to the measurement data are acquired and/or derived. Following this, a structured document is evaluated so that at least one post-processing method, for example an optimally designed method, can be selected for the respective measurement data.

  • Publication number: 20110235887
Abstract: A method and system for the diagnosis of 3D images are disclosed, which significantly cuts the time required for the diagnosis. The 3D images are for example an image volume dataset of a magnetic resonance tomography system which is saved in an RIS or PACS system. In at least one embodiment, the diagnostic finding are partially automatically generated, and details of the position, size and change in pathological structures are compared to previous diagnostic findings are generated automatically. As a result of this automation the diagnostic work of radiologists is significantly reduced.

  • Patent number: 7844571
Abstract: To increase the efficiency of the management of image data in a data network including a multiplicity of network nodes, at least one embodiment of the present invention provides for image data, having been stored at a network node provided as a buffer store, to be transmitted for archiving to a network node provided as an archive store and to be stored there, with the storage of the respective image data in the buffer store and in the archive store involving a reference to the respective network node being recorded in an index in conjunction with an explicit identifier for the respective image data. Further, in at least one embodiment, the index is used when the stored image data are subsequently loaded to ascertain the respective at least one network node at which the respective image data are stored.

  • Patent number: 7689544
Abstract: A method is for automatically indexing multimedia data archives and categorizing the files held therein and also to a client/server architecture in an image retrieval system for content-based searching for relevant files in a particular format and having a particular file structure. The parsed files stored in a data archive managed by the document management system are subjected to a feature extraction algorithm. The features obtained are then used for producing a binary-coded inverted index which includes elements of at least two attributes and holds context information which is held in these files and is needed for content-based image retrieval.

  • Patent number: 7526132
Abstract: An apparatus, a method, a data structure and a storage medium with a program are for identifying and storing image data and/or metadata. The apparatus includes an electronic data processing device for the processing of the data by a user. It furthermore includes an electronic data management device, which can bring the data to a format suitable for storage, and a storage device for storing the data. A data loss check device can check the processed data for data loss in comparison with the original data. The data can be identified by the data management device in a manner dependent on the result of such a check. Lossy data are stored by the storage device in addition to data obtained in a lossless manner.

  • Publication number: 20030107851
Abstract: A mobile high voltage network supplies electrical consumer units connected via a plug-in connector and can be switched on and off by means of mechanical switches, with a fuse responding in the event of a short circuit. The high voltage network carries a direct voltage and to each electrical consumer unit (8; 10) a separate diagnostic and protection monitoring system is assigned which is activated when it is switched on and/or off. Such a direct voltage and high voltage network in conjunction with the diagnostic and protection monitoring system makes it possible, before starting up any circuit of consumer units, to effect a self-diagnosis of the protection monitoring system, to ensure that all components are fully functional. Without this, self-diagnosis with proof of functionality the relevant circuit of consumer units is not switched on.

  • Patent number: 6550719
Abstract: In order to provide a compact, high-performance drive device for aircraft, in particular for power gliders, which comprise a propeller which is driven by a motor, preferably by an electric motor, and the blades (6) of which can be tilted towards the propeller shaft (15) by way of a joint and in the tilted-out position pass through a running gap (5) for the propeller formed between the nose, in which the generally minimal conditions of space are utilized in an optimum manner and which ensures the necessary aerodynamic properties of the aircraft, the invention proposes that the motor (10) should be arranged in front of the propeller in the space bounded by the nose (4). In this way, the interior of the aircraft as far as the running gap (5) for the propeller is made available for the pilot or the aircraft passengers, so as to ensure optimum use of the said interior and the length of the aircraft can be kept short.
