  • Patent number: 8385392
Abstract: A network contains a main pipe, a branch pipe leading to the main pipe, an electric data line laid in the main pipe and one laid in the individual connecting pipe, one central data distribution unit and a terminal unit. A data line is introduced into the main pipe and is connected to the data distribution unit, its other end laid in the system of pipes being configured as a transmitting or receive antenna. An additional data line is introduced into the system of pipes via the individual connecting pipe and is connected to the terminal unit with one end and another end is configured as a transmitting or receive antenna. The transmitting or receive antenna of the data line serving as an antenna and the transmitting or receive antenna of the additional data line form a pair of antennas between the antennas of which a radio link exists.

  • Publication number: 20100229977
Abstract: A collar with a collar body for laying cables in pipe systems. A first section of a guide part, which is formed by a pipe and has a guide opening for a cable, adjoins a subregion of a circumferential edge of the collar body. The guide part is bent by way of a further section, which continues the first section, into the interior of the collar body, in particular towards the inner wall surface of the collar. The further section extends in the direction of the other circumferential edge of the collar body. A second guide part, which has a guide opening for the cable and is formed, in particular, by a curved pipe, is pivotally mounted on the first section of the adjoining first-mentioned guide part.

  • Publication number: 20100178015
Abstract: A cable duct for guiding a plurality of cables is produced from an elastic material. The cable duct has an upper profiled part and a lower profiled part. The lateral end sections of the opposite profiled parts, in the position of use of the cable duct, terminate the cable duct as closing parts. The lateral end sections rest one on the other or are forced one against the other. The profiled parts are held together by retaining elements that can be immobilized by joining. Retaining elements are at the same distance to a center of a cross-section of the cable duct and at the same distance to the lateral end sections. Chambers for guiding lines or cables are delimited at both sides of the center and/or in the sections of the profiled parts that are laterally contiguous to the closing parts by the retaining elements.

  • Patent number: 7576283
Abstract: A cable duct is provided for cables to be laid along walls or tops of subterranean tubes, ducts, etc. for the transport of water, energy, data, optical fiber cables, etc. The cable duct is installed in the tube from a surface through access shafts and fixed to the duct. The cable duct is formed by cable duct body elements, disposed one behind the other in a longitudinal direction, connected to one another at the ends thereof such as to be pivoted relative to one another at a lateral angle about a lateral pivot axis. Each of the body elements is formed by two cover plates and connected to one another by a web. Laterally open chambers are disposed on both sides of the web for housing the cables. The chambers are sealed by edge cover strips forming two closed longitudinal chambers with the connected angularly adjustable body elements.

  • Patent number: 7356896
Abstract: A cable cup can be mounted in an optimal location on the wall of an otherwise inaccessible duct, so that, above all, inlets into the duct are not obstructed. A mounting device has a carriage that is movable in the longitudinal direction of the duct. A supporting unit for the cable cup is mounted on the carriage. A carrier is pivotally connected to the carriage via a longitudinal shaft. A directing unit supports the cable cup and is movable toward the wall of the duct. A drilling device and a screwdriver device are longitudinally movable on the shaft. By pivoting the support and thus the directing unit, the cable cup is fixed in the desired position on the wall, a hole is drilled through the cable cup and into the wall of the duct and a screw is screwed into the hole by the screwdriver device.

Accordingly, a stationary positioning of the cable and/or the laid cable configuration, which is optionally maintained by a cable support, is obtained and ensured by the force of gravity and the frictional fit thus arising.

  • Patent number: 7041912
Abstract: The present invention relates to an installation device for cables (6) that are to be laid along walls, with cable holders (5) and a cover (10). The present invention makes provision such that the cover (10) is configured as a cable cover profile strip (1) with a front cover strip (2) and side cover strips (3) that extend from its two side edges (201), which can be wound on to a winding body and then unwound from same in order to be installed; the two side cover strips (3) are connected to the front cover strip (2) through a folding or hinged connection; in the wound-on state (LT), the two side cover strips are folded inward with their unattached side edges (301) facing each other, and extending in the same direction as the front cover strip (2); and in that each of the two side cover strips (3) can be moved into the installation position (MA) by being folded away from the front cover strip (2), transversely to the longitudinal dimension of said front cover strip (2).

  • Patent number: 6997646
Abstract: When a glass fiber cable emerging from a main channel (1) is guided into a domestic channel line (2), in order to prevent this glass fiber cable from unacceptably having an excessively small radius of curvature in the direction-changing area (6), and thus being damaged, and in order to ensure that the glass fiber cable (3) is in the correct position, this glass fiber cable (3) is guided in a rigid guide tube (7) whose longitudinal axis runs essentially along a cylindrical envelope surface in its central section (7??). The rigid guide tube (7) is fixed in a pipe connecting stub (10) which can be widened elastically and thus, after insertion into the domestic channel line (2), rests on the wall thereof in a stressed manner, and is fixed in its position. That end of the guide tube (7) which projects into the domestic channel line (2) is connected via a sleeve (8) to a flexible pipe, tube (5) or the like.

  • Patent number: 6832873
Abstract: In order to facilitate, and largely to automate, the installation of cable supports on a duct wall, an installation vehicle can be displaced in the duct. The vehicle has a basic body which contains a storage battery and on which are mounted wheels. At least one of the wheels is driven by an integrated wheel-hub motor. Carriers for supporting seats for the operators are provided on opposite end sides of the basic body and the individual subassemblies are controlled via a control box on the basic body. A platform, which can be raised by a hydraulic cylinder carries pivoting brackets. The pivoting brackets carry slides for percussion drills, which can be displaced into their operating position, in the direction of the duct wall, by way of a pneumatic spring and moved, counter to the force of the spring, into a rest position.

  • Publication number: 20040089768
Abstract: The assembly allows lines such as pipes, hoses, cables, or the like to be fastened to walls of structures, for instance the interior walls of sewers. The assembly has a duct for receiving the lines and it is formed with an opening on the side that faces the wall of the structure. The duct can be fixed to the wall with devises that are fastenable to the wall at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the duct. The devises surround the duct on the remaining sides, they are provided with protruding fastening flanges, and they are formed of two parts that can be pivoted and/or shifted relative to one another.
