Abstract: Triazolyl-alkanones or triazolyl-alkanols of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or substituted aryl, andR.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or substituted aryl, orR.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are joined to form an aliphatic ring, andA is a keto group or a CH(OH) group,or a salt thereof which possess fungicidal, microbicidal and plant-growth regulating properties.

Abstract: A synergistic fungicidal composition comprising ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents optionally substituted phenyl,R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, alkyl having up to 4 carbon atoms or phenyl,R.sup.3 represents alkyl having up to 6 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 5 to 6 carbon atoms, phenyl or 4-chlorophenyl, andY represents the CO group, the group ##STR2## or C(OH).sub.2 or CH(OH). and at least one of several specifically identified additional fungicides.

Abstract: A synergistic fungicidal composition comprising a fungicidally effective amount of (I) a 1,2,4-triazolylalkonol of the formula ##STR1## in which X is chlorine or phenyl plus (II) at least one member selected from the group consisting of(A) a salt of a heavy metal,(B) a guanidine or derivative, and(C) a polyhalogenoalkylthio derivative of the formula ##STR2## in which R.sup.1 is amidosulphonyl or dimethylamidosulphonyl,R.sup.2 is phenyl, methylphenyl or halogeno phenyl, orR.sup.1 and R.sup.2 together are ##STR3## Haloalkyl is alkyl which has up to 2 carbon atoms and is substituted by 2 to 5 halogen atoms.

Abstract: This invention involves methods and composition for treating fungi comprising a fungicidally effective amount of a mixture of (I) a 1,2,4-triazole derivative of a phenoxyether-ketone or phenoxyether-alkanol selected from the group consisting of ##STR1## and (II) the compound of the formula ##STR2## the weight ratio of I:II ranging from 0.02-50:1.
