  • Patent number: 4756283
Abstract: An ignition lead arrangement comprising individual ignition leads which are constructed as flat cables which are integrated to a single molding for connection to an ignition distributor. The arrangement also comprises the necessary sockets for connection to the spark plugs and ignition coil which are covered with the insulating rubber which also forms the insulating material for the individual ignition leads.

  • Patent number: 4403818
Abstract: An instrument panel for automotive vehicles is molded of an insulating plastics material and carries electrical conductors on the rear surface leading to indicating and control instruments on the front. Several grooves on the rear surface, one for each conductor, are coated along their flanks with a conductive material such as a conductive paint to form the conductors. Cavities extending through the panel allow contact springs to connect the conductors on the rear to the instruments on the front.

  • Patent number: 4035754
Abstract: Fuse boxes for motor vehicles, in which fuse elements are carried on a support plate mounted on a box containing a light source. Each fuse element has a region of small cross-section overlying a respective one of a plurality of apertures in the support plate. When the small cross-section region of a fuse element melts the underlying aperture is exposed. Light from the light source passes out through said aperture to illuminate a circuit symbol adjacent the support plate thereby giving a visible indication of fuse element failure.

  • Patent number: 3935996
Abstract: A counter mechanism for the digital measurement of increments of a selected physical quantity, such as distance travelled by a motor vehicle, includes a first set of numbered counting wheels rotatably mounted in sequence upon a driven shaft with gear means interconnecting said counting wheels one with another in a velocity ratio of 1 to 10, and a second set of numbered counting wheels similarly arranged on a second shaft driven from a predetermined one of said numbered counting wheels in said first set. The second set of counting wheels commences to count multiples of said increments when said predetermined one counting wheel commences to rotate. The second set of numbered counting wheels can be reset to zero by means of a ratchet resetting device without affecting the position of the first set of numbered counting wheels.
