  • Patent number: 11946200
Abstract: A stranding machine is provided for producing a cord from a plurality of wires, preferably metal wires. The stranding machine has a stranding device for stranding the wires, including at least one rotatably mounted deflecting roller for deflecting the cord and at least one guide device for guiding the cord. The guide device is arranged in such a way that the cord can be guided on a straight line from the guide device to the deflecting roller in such a way that the cord is pressed against a first flank of the deflecting roller. As the cord is deflected by the deflecting roller, the cord moves from the first flank into the roller base of the deflecting roller.

  • Patent number: 5194225
Abstract: A chromatography column cartridge system comprised of an internal pressure-stable precision glass tube which can be filled with adsorbent and an external protection and/or temperature control jacket with column connection parts which can be screwed on. The column connection parts comprise a union nut which is screwed onto the protection and/or temperature control jacket. The union nut contains a milled nut and a plunger which seals the glass tube radially. Feed and discharge lines for the mobile phase pass through the column connection parts.

  • Patent number: 4861711
Abstract: A solid diagnostic device for the quantitative determination of substances of biological affinity in biological fluids is described. A process is also described in which the biological fluid is brought into contact with a specific functional sector of the device, the fluid migrates through several functional sectors situated beside one another and containing suitable reagent components, and one or more substances of biological affinity are detected in such functional sectors which contain, for each substance to be detected, at least one combination partner of biological affinity, attached to a solid phase.

  • Patent number: 4563421
Abstract: What are disclosed are polysaccharide derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which n denotes a number from 100 to 12,500 and R denotes hydrogen, a carboxyalkyl or hydroxyalkyl group with 1 to 5 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical or a detectable molecular group, any combination of the (3n+2) R radicals being possible, but at least one R being a carboxyalkyl or hydroxyalkyl group and at least one R being a detectable molecular group, and a process for their preparation and their use for the determination of endohydrolases, in indicator paper and for the detection of metabolites in biological liquids, are described.
