  • Patent number: 5486048
Abstract: An apparatus for the treatment of dough, in particular portioning and kneading, has a drum (2) rotatable around a horizontal axis and provided on its periphery with receiving openings (3, 4) for the dough. In these receiving openings the dough is treated, for example by a kneading member. In each receiving opening (3, 4) a piston (43) is guided in radial direction of the drum along a restricted guidance (46) that on its entire is rotatable relative to the drum (2). The restricted guidance consists of at least two members (91, 92) adjustable relative to each other and completing each other effectively to the common restricted guidance (6) and always reliably guiding the pistons (43). By relative adjustment of the two members (91, 92), the treatment conditions on a station can be changed without influencing the other stations FIG. 2.

  • Patent number: 5482366
Abstract: An apparatus for stirring and, respectively, or kneading dough includes a frame (1) into which a receptacle (17) for the dough to be treated can be carried in by chassis (22). In its carried-in position, the receptacle (17) can be lifted by a lifting device (23) into a position in which at least one tool (15) extends from above into the receptacle (17). Each tool (15) is disposed eccentrically with respect to the axis (42) of the receptacle (17) and is carried by a tool carrier (4) driven around the axis (42) by a drive (41). In additon thereto, a further drive (50) for the tools (15) is provided which are movable relative to the tool carrier (4). The tool carrier (4) is bearingly supported with its periphery on a collar (2) of the frame and closes the upper opening of the receptacle (17) in its lifted position like a cover. Thereby a particular intensive and continuous treatment of the dough in the receptacle (17) is obtained and the stresses on the receptacle (17) are reduced.

  • Patent number: 5441342
Abstract: An apparatus for kneading portioned dough pieces comprises a drum (2) rotating around a horizontal axis and being provided on its periphery with alternatively disposed receiving openings (3,4) of different size for the dough to be kneaded. In each receiving opening (3,4) a piston (43) is guided in radial direction and a restricted guidance (48) is provided for the adjustment of these pistons. A change-over means (50) enables one to position always only one of the two sizes of the receiving openings (3,4) below the kneading device (25), so that this kneading device is common of all sizes of the receiving openings (3,4). Thereby, dough pieces having a large range of weight can be kneaded (FIG. 1).
