  • Patent number: 8253947
Abstract: A device for measuring lithography masks is provided, comprising a reticle carrier for the lithography mask to be measured, a measurement objective for reproducing on a detector a section of said lithography mask held by said reticle carrier, a measurement module for measuring the position of said reticle carrier relative to said measurement objective, and a correction module by means of which said reticle carrier can be moved in order to bring it into a predetermined position relative to said measurement objective, wherein said measurement objective and said measurement module are fastened directly to an instrument carrier in a locally fixed manner.

  • Publication number: 20100153059
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the positions of marks on a mask is provided, said apparatus comprising a mask holder for holding the mask, a recording unit for recording the marks of the mask held by the mask holder, an actuating module for moving the mask holder and the recording unit relative to each other, and an evaluating module, which numerically calculates the gravity-induced sagging of the mask in the mask holder and determines the positions of the marks on the mask, based on the calculated sagging, the recordings made by the recording unit and the relative movement between the mask holder and the recording unit, wherein, prior to calculating said sagging, the present position of the mask in the mask holder is determined and is taken into consideration in said numerical calculation, and/or the geometrical dimensions of the mask are taken into consideration in said numerical calculation of sagging.

  • Publication number: 20050236521
Abstract: The invention relates to a securing apparatus for a portable electronic unit to an adapter, which is electronically and/or mechanically connected to a physical unit, in particular an aircraft. The adapter is provided with a locking device which has a control element that is mounted via a shaft, with the shaft being provided with an eccentric device, and with the eccentric device pushing the portable device (which is inserted into the adapter) to a vibration-proof locked position by operation of the control element beyond the dead point of the eccentric device.

  • Patent number: 5067594
Abstract: A resilient guide for the brake housing of a floating caliper spot-type disc brake for automotive vehicles in which the brake carrier is integrated into the steering knuckle. A resilient spring for a brake housing (1) of a floating caliper spot-type disc brake with a brake carrier integrated into the steering knuckle is provided. The spring arrangement comprises at least one spring (2, 7) secured to the brake housing (1) at predetermined points (A, B). The spring (2, 7) in its unloaded condition, is premounted on brake housing (1) and after assembly of the brake housing (1) is loaded on the manufacturing belt to preload the brake housing (1) against the brake carrier arms (6). Loading of the spring (2) is effected such that the center is moved toward the wheel axle, and is fixed to projections (4) of the brake housing (1) and is then supported, with extensions (5), to arms (6) of the brake carrier. The entire mounting operation advantageously can be performed by an industrial robot.

  • Patent number: 4940120
Abstract: A disc brake, especially for use with automotive vehicles is disclosed including brake housing staddling the rim of a brake disc, brake pads disposed on either side of the brake disc and a spring supported on the brake housing and on the brake pads to load the same with respect to one another. To attain an adequate preloading force and to insure the required stroke, it is provided that the spring includes two circumferentially extending U-shaped spring arms that are capable of being placed into abutment with a supporting face on the brake pad. Another section of the spring abuts on a supporting face formed on the brake housing. The spring arms form an obtuse angle relative to a central section of the spring.

  • Patent number: 3971717
Abstract: Solid radioactive waste is incorporated in glass, ceramic or basaltic blocks which are conditioned in waste waters or sludges prior to placement in ultimate storage. The conditioning has the dual benefit of reducing the radioactivity of the radioactive waste and of purifying the waste water or of purifying and facilitating the filterability of the sludge. Such purifying is enhanced by concurrent treatment with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas and/or with a substance which is readily reduced to radicals.
