Abstract: A sterile adapter for arrangement between a sterilizable endoscope and a camera head with a distal end attachable to the endoscope, and a proximal end attachable to the camera head, wherein the sterile adapter has a tube with a longitudinal axis, with a longitudinal portion having an internal diameter reduced in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and which forms a central opening which is dimensioned such that, while a free propagation of light is possible between the endoscope and the camera head along the longitudinal axis, it is nonetheless made difficult to reach through an interior of the sterile adapter enclosed by the tube.

A lateral handle (14) forms in an obtuse angle with the surgical endoscope and has at least one reproduction and lighting system (8, 6) guided to coupling spots (5, 7) provided at the proximal end of tube instrument. The distal end of the tube (9) extends beyond the distal end of be surgical endoscope (1) and is designed as a thicker, atraumatic lip (10) that contains a suction channel (12) diametrically arranged to a front lens system (16) and connected through a space (11) between the shaft (2) and the tube (9) to a connection fitting (13) for a suction hose (15).

Abstract: A closing system for an instrument passage, particularly for use in laparoscopic puncture devices. The object of the invention is to provide a closing system of safe operation which permits a non-complicated cleaning and has a simple and comparatively small construction. The object is realized according to the invention in that a closing member is a floatingly seated disc which centrally fits into a conical seat and which is held in any position only by a non-symmetrically acting magnetic force of at least one magnet, preferably a permanent magnet.
