    Abstract: A fuel cell module includes a multitude of permeable anode plates and cathode plates which are stacked one above the other in an alternating manner. An electrolyte material is positioned between adjacent anode plates and cathode plates. Connections to the anode plates and cathode plates are provided for carrying away gas and fuel. Both the anode plates and the cathode plates are connected in parallel.
