Abstract: Bench seat for a vehicle includes two side seats and one center seat. The side seats are equipped with permanent side padding components on their outer sides. The bench seat comfort of the side seats is increased as desired using simple expedients, such as the provision of complementary side walls for the inner sides of the backrests and/or the seat sections of the side seats, and which complementary side walls can be extended into the center seat, as well as out of and away from the center seat.
