Abstract: A receiver amplifier for amplifying a photoelectric current produced by a light-sensitive semiconductor component. The amplifier includes an amplifier transistor, a capacitor connected between the light-sensitive conductor component and the amplifier transistor for isolating signals with a frequency below a certain threshold delivered by the semiconductor components from the amplifier transistor, and a second transistor connected to the amplifier transistor for producing a current which compensates for changes in the current produced by the light-sensitive semiconductor component in response to light pulses.

Abstract: A remote-control lock system has a transmitter that can be set to emit any one of a succession of differently coded signals, a receiver that can be set to respond to any one of the succession of signals, and a lock operable by the receiver when it receives the signal it is set to. Initially the transmitter is set to emit a predetermined one of the succession of signals and the receiver is set to respond to the predetermined one of the signals. Thereafter, after each emission by the transmitter and reception by the receiver, the transmitter and receiver are reset to the next of the signals in the succession except after the last signal of the succession has been emitted and received in which case the transmitter and receiver are reset to the first of the succession of signals. Thus each actuation of the transmitter change the code that will open the lock.

Abstract: A phthalocyanine product in which at least two phthalocyanine groups which may be metallized or unmetallized are joined by a bridging group, the bridging group being attached to the phthalocyanine groups through --CH.sub.2 --X.sub.o -- linkages where X.sub.o is a basic group and the phthalocyanine groups are attached to the methylene group of the linkages. The phthalocyanine product is useful as a dyestuff.

Abstract: The fastness properties of basic dyeings on cellulosic substrates are improved by treating the substrate with a fixing agent comprising a precondensate or mixture of(A) the reaction product of an amine with cyanamide, dicyandiamide, guanidine or biguanidine, or,(B) a quaternary polyalkylene polyamine with(C) formaldehyde and/or,(D) an N-methylol compound optionally together with(E) a catalyst, e.g. MgCl.sub.2.The fixing agents are normally applied as an aftertreatment, with a subsequent heat-curing step.

Abstract: Dyes of the formulaCuPc--CH.sub.2 --N.sup..sym. (CH.sub.3).sub.3 Cl.sup..crclbar.).sub.n,whereinCuPc is copper phthalocyanine, andn is 2 or 3,and mixtures thereof, are useful as paper dyes. The dyes may be added to paper stock prior to sheet formation or applied to paper in sheet form to produce turquoise colored paper. The dyed or printed paper is bleachable but has good fastness to light, wet treatments, alcohol and soap. The dyes are very soluble in water and exhaust well on, i.e., exhibit good substantivity to, paper.

Abstract: A constant current switch for controlling a generally constant switchable load current with fluctuating voltage comprises a first transistor connected in to the current branch of the load circuit and having a voltage divider in parallel to its control path for measuring its control voltage and a second transistor connected to the control input of the switch and to the voltage divider.

Abstract: A data transmission system comprises a transmitter and a receiver in which, on the occurrence of a sequence of identical bits, only the first bit is transmitted, the remainder of the sequence being replaced by pauses of corresponding length.

Abstract: A process for the dyeing of paper with granulated dyeing preparations, preferably dissolved in water. For the process granulated dyeing preparations are used which consist of(a) a dye soluble to at least 2% in water at 25.degree. C. and(b) in an amount not greater than 50%, a salt which dissociates in water, the average size of the granules being at least 20 microns.This application is a continuation of application Ser. No. 239,360, filed Mar. 29, 1972 and now abandoned, which in turn is a continuation-in-part of application Ser. No. 60,115, filed July 31, 1970 and now abandoned, which in turn is a continuation-in-part of application Ser. No. 761,333, filed Sept. 20, 1968 and now abandoned.
