  • Patent number: 8590576
Abstract: A corrugated pipe of a fuel line of a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle, with at least one flexible wavy portion having waves, the waves in each case having a wave crest and of a wave trough. The at least one wavy portion possesses at least one first region in which the waves have a larger diameter.

  • Publication number: 20120018024
Abstract: A corrugated pipe of a fuel line of a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle, with at least one flexible wavy portion having waves. The waves are a wave crest and of a wave trough. The at least one wavy portion has a region, the cross section of which has a form deviating from the circular form.

  • Publication number: 20080273993
Abstract: An ejector tube (5) of an ejector pump has an inlet area (4), a mixing area (7) and an outlet end (8) via which the medium to be delivered exits the ejector tube (5). A conduit section (10) adjoins the outlet end (8), the conduit section (10) is connected to the outlet end (8) of the ejector tube (5) so as to form a single piece.

  • Patent number: 7036488
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel delivery unit (2) that is disposed in the fuel tank (1) of a motor vehicle, the delivery unit comprising a level sensor (13) that detects when the amount of fuel in a surge chamber (3) falls below a minimum amount. When the fuel in the surge chamber (3) falls below a defined minimum, the supply of power to a delivery pump (4) that is driven by an electromotor is interrupted, thereby preventing the delivery pump (4) from delivering air when the surge chamber (3) is empty.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 18, 2003
Date of Patent: May 2, 2006
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 6708673
Abstract: In a fuel feed unit, two anti-surge pots are connected to one another within a fuel tank by means of a connecting element. For installation, the anti-surge pots are introduced into the fuel tank singly through an installation opening, and are then connected to one another. This means that only a single installation opening is required in the fuel tank for two anti-surge pots.

  • Publication number: 20030226548
Abstract: A fuel feed unit for a motor vehicle, having a pressure-limiting valve arranged in a working fluid line of a suction jet pump which is arranged within a surge chamber of a fuel tank. Excess fuel therefore passes directly into the surge chamber via an outlet of the pressure-limiting valve. Unnecessary circulating of the fuel in the fuel tank is therefore avoided.

  • Patent number: 6443691
Abstract: In an impeller of a feed pump designed as a side channel pump, each of the vane chambers are divided into two sectors which are arranged in an undercut-free design relative to a direction perpendicular to the end face of the impeller. When the impeller is manufactured from plastic by injection molding, the sectors may be produced by projections arranged on mold halves intended for the manufacture of the impeller. After the production of the impeller, the projections in the mold halves having the geometric shape of the sectors may be drawn axially apart from one another in one simple step, thereby providing a cost-effective production of the impeller.
