  • Publication number: 20220381196
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the operational analysis of an engine and/or for calibrating a controller of the engine, in particular an internal combustion engine, wherein run-up occurs of test points defined by values of a plurality of predetermined operating parameters and selected from a multidimensional test space using a statistical experiment design, whereby at least one operating parameter is in each case changed from one test point to the next test point in a plurality of steps in the run-up of the test points, wherein operational measurements are performed at measurement points resulting from a respective increment and at the actual test points, whereby measurement data from the operational measurements for the analysis and calibration of the controller are output and continuously stored, as well as a corresponding system.

  • Patent number: 6120990
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an immunochemical method for qualitatively or quantitatively detecting an analyte in which a first and a second binding component are contacted with the analyte, followed by detection of the binding of the binding components to the analyte. According to the invention, both of the binding components are prepared recombinantly in the same host using different vectors (V1 and V2) for expressing fusion proteins, with the first binding component being expressed as a fusion protein F1 in vector V1 and the second binding component being expressed as a fusion protein F2 in vector V2. The novel method, which can also be employed for simultaneously determining several analytes, is more sensitive and specific than prior known methods.

  • Patent number: 4252441
Abstract: An arrangement for measuring exposure in which an adapter is attached to an electronic exposure meter. The adapter has at least three plugs mating with corresponding sockets on the exposure meter. The exposure meter has a circuit supplying a measured voltage which is a linear function of the logarithm of a measured magnitude. A defined constant voltage is taken from the exposure meter circuit and applied to two sockets. The adapter has a voltage divider whose external connections are formed by two plugs which apply a constant voltage upon plugging the adapter to the exposure meter through the sockets. The voltage divider has a tap which is connected to another plug that is, in turn, connected, through the associated socket in the exposure meter, to a point in the circuit where application of a correction voltage results in a change in measured voltage equivalent to an increase in the measured magnitude.
