    Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing injection molded parts is described with a die and a counter-die and a mold cavity formed therebetween. Both the die and also the counter-die respectively consist of a mold insert which provides the contours and a web-braced body of cast material which receives the respective mold insert in a form-fitted manner, surrounds it and supports it against the injection molding forces which arise.
