  • Patent number: 7441814
Abstract: The present invention discloses a vehicle lock device that can be shifted between a locked position and an unlocked position. The vehicle lock includes a lock casing and a cable sheath fixed in relation to the lock casing and in which a cable is displaceably arranged. The end of the cable pointing to the lock casing is designed, by pushing down the other end of the cable in the cable sheath, to be brought into engagement with a cable seat. The cable seat is operatively connected to a catch for actuation of the catch. By actuating the catch, it is disengaged from a rotary bolt, thereby releasing the bolt. In the lock casing there is an element designed to act upon the cable end pointing towards the lock casing. By doing so, the cable end is directed for engagement with the cable seat in the unlocked position, and is directed to the side of the cable seat in the locked position.

  • Patent number: 6684672
Abstract: A cylindrical lock arrangement of the kind having a cylindrical housing attached to a door and a lock cylinder with lever tumblers provided to cooperate with a lock device, whereby the lock device is arranged to be actuated via a carrier provided to the cylinder lock. The invention has a connection device for transmission of force from the lock cylinder to the carrier is provided to be axially displaced in relation to the lock cylinder from a neutral position and in direction towards this during rotation of the lock cylinder with a fitting key. The connection device is provided to be brought to an active position in friction engagement with the carrier not until after the axial displacement from the neutral position, after which locking and unlocking respectively of the lock device is performed by further rotation of the lock cylinder by means of the key.

  • Patent number: 6598436
Abstract: A device for the transmission of unlocking force from a lock cylinder arranged in a lock cylinder casing to an operating arm in a locking mechanism, especially in a vehicle lock. The device is characterized in that a first end of a cable sheath is fixed to the lock cylinder casing adjacent to the lock cylinder. A second end of the cable sheath is fixed adjacent to the operating arm of the locking mechanism. A first end of a cable arranged in the cable sheath is operatively connected to the lock cylinder, the first end of the cable being designed, when duly acted upon by the lock cylinder for unlocking the door, to be pushed into the cable sheath, thereby causing a second free end of the cable to be pushed out of the other end of the cable sheath and brought into engagement with the operating arm, and by way of the latter transmitting to the locking mechanism the requisite force/movement needed to bring the locking mechanism from a locked position (X) into an unlocked position (Y).
