    Abstract: In a process for producing plastic components, a molded plastic article with a hollow space and relatively thick walls is molded in a first step, and, in an additional step, a predetermined fluid pressure is applied to the interior of the hollow space in the molded plastic article to enlarge it so that the thicknesses of the walls of the hollow space are reduced.
