  • Patent number: 6808050
Abstract: The invention relates to a brake disc for a rail vehicle, with which a hub body (16) and a brake ring (12) are connected to one another such that with braking procedures a thermal expansion of the brake ring (12) relative to the hub body (16) is possible. At the same time screws (15) pass through axially aligned openings in a hub flange (14) arranged on the hub body (16) and a brake ring flange (13) arranged on the brake ring (12). According to the invention the screws at their end exiting the brake ring flange (13), by way of a retaining element which, for example, may be a retaining lug (17) formed integrally on the hub body (16) or a retaining bracket fixed on the hub body, may be fixed relative to the hub body (16) so that an axially parallel position of the screws (15) and a centering of the brake ring (12) is ensured even with thermal expansions.

The mounting of the screws (15) is effected indirectly via an axially displaceably movable sleeve (20) or by a retaining braket engaging into a groove on the hub.

  • Patent number: 4427398
Abstract: A device for coupling and uncoupling two parts which are movable relative to each other, particularly parts of the drives of vehicles, for instance for high-speed power vehicles, by means of a length-variable guide rod. On the tubular guide rod segment there is arranged a housing having a cylinder chamber in which the cylindrical part of the axially shiftable guide rod segment extends, this cylindrical part being provided with engaging portions for annular pistons which surround it. Two annular pistons are supports for a preloaded coil spring arranged therebetween, and upon pulling or compressive force, one of the spring-loaded annular pistons, depending upon the direction of force, is axially shifted against the preloaded coil spring by the corresponding engaging portion of the cylindrical rod part of the guide rod segment.

  • Patent number: 4419901
Abstract: A device for measuring axial force in a shaft journalled or mounted with two roller bearings arranged side by side in a housing, such measuring occurring by means of wire strain gauges or the like. The inner ring of the roller bearing on the shaft side engages a shaft shoulder, and the end faces of the roller bodies of the roller body row facing the bearing cover are supported by the flangeless inner ring of the adjoining roller bearing against a flanged ring or angle ring which is disengageably arranged on the shaft. This device is especially intended for wheel-set shafts of rail vehicles during travelling operation. Those end faces of the roller bodies of the two roller body rows facing each other are supported on a central flanged ring which transfers force and is movable in the direction of force when force is applied.
