  • Publication number: 20060292259
Abstract: A device for the preparation of plastics material for recycling purposes has a container (1) with an upper inlet opening (10) for the material. In the container (1), at least one tool (14) rotates about the vertical container axis. This tool feeds the treated material through an outlet opening (17) which is arranged at the bottom of the container (1) and to which the housing (19) of at least one screw (21, 22) is connected. That side wall (28) of the feed opening (18) at which the tool (14) discharges defines a widening (36) extending continuously towards the screw axis. This widening (36) extends over part of the circumference of the screw turns (30) so that the screw-side edge of this widening (36) forms an uninterrupted shearing edge (39) co-operating with the screw turns (30).

  • Patent number: 5014150
Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette, for example an audio cassette, which is distinguished by an attractive outer appearance, consists of a bottom part and a top part, transparent in each case, and contains inside it two adjacent tape rolls. The bottom part and the top part each have a transparent housing wall having transparent or slightly colored regions and opaque or untransparent regions. The untransparent or opaque regions are produced by printing surface areas of the cassette housing walls including the application of various patterns and/or colors.

  • Patent number: 4178692
Abstract: A measuring device for checking the dimensional accuracy of the track width of curved transport tracks formed by paired rollers lying on a radius of curvature equidistantly be placed into a transport track and moved therealong, is provided with at least two displacement sensors. The sensors are spaced apart at a distance determined by the track width. The carrier for the displacement centers has contours corresponding substantially to the curvature of the transport track. The carrier has a length which ensures, when inserted in the transport track, the continuous spanning of at least two successive roller pairs. The displacement sensors are located on a radius of the circle of curvature of the track. The height of the carrier corresponds substantially to the track width, and the sensors are of the non-contact type. The carrier may be coated with elastically resilient material on those surface portions subjected to reciprocal action with the rollers.

  • Patent number: 4081151
Abstract: The winding cores are flangeless and adapted to receive magnetic tapes. For reasons of compact packaging, it is desired to be able to stack several reels of tape securely for transport. For this reason, the winding core is designed so that the height of the winding surface is equal to or slightly greater than the width of the tapes to be wound on it. In addition, the surfaces between the internal and external circumference or on the internal circumference of the winding core have projections which project upwards or downwards from the medial plane of the core by half the total height of the core. When several cores are stacked above one another, these projections interlock so that the winding surfaces are stacked as closely together as possible.
