Abstract: Connection arrangement for detachably connecting a first component to a second component. The arrangement includes a retaining bolt adapted to extend through the first component. The retaining bolt includes an external thread. A connector device is adapted to receive the retaining bolt. The connector device includes at least two shell-shaped threaded-nut segments and a housing which includes an opening adapted to receive an end of the retaining bolt and an internal taper which tapers towards the opening. Each of the at least two shell-shaped threaded-nut segments are arranged in the housing and include an outer tapered surface which movably engages the inner tapered surface of the housing. A mechanism for biasing the at least two shell-shaped threaded-nut segments towards the opening of the housing is utilized. A vibration-damping member is provided. The connector device is mounted to the vibration damping member.

Abstract: An assist airblower unit for a heating and ventilating system of a motor vehicle. The airblower includes a single motor and two centrifugal fan wheels encased within a shell. The motor drives both centrifugal fan wheels via a shaft. The centrifugal fan wheels have angled blades that draws in air from a lateral air inlet located on the shell. The air is then forced out of the outlet openings into the automobiles interior to either heat or cool the vehicle. The air source either outputs at the front of the HVAC unit or recirculation air, i.e., cabin air.

The arrangement includes a retaining bolt including an internal opening. At least one side wall opening and an external ring-shaped retaining groove is provided. The retaining bolt is adapted to be connected to the first component. A retaining-spring arrangement is provided having at least one leaf-spring arm and being adapted to be connected to the second component. The ring-shaped retaining groove of the retaining bolt is adapted to extend through the aligned opening of the second component. Abstract: A detachable insert connection arrangement adapted to be connected to a retaining channel having a slot-like opening between two retaining edges and method of connecting a component to a retaining channel. The connection arrangement includes a holder having a push-in part that includes a locking element. The push-in part is capable of being pushed into the retaining channel. A rotation pin is coupled to the locking element. The locking element is at least partially rotatable in two directions. A spring biases the locking element towards a locking position such that when the locking element is arranged in the retaining channel, the locking element bridges the slot and engages an inside of the two retaining edges. The locking element is movable, upon movement of the rotation pin against a biasing force of the spring, to a non-locking position, whereby the push-in part can be removed from the retaining channel.

Abstract: The invention concerns decompression locks releasing a flap or plate from their closed position in the event of overpressure. A decompression lock, employing the known principle of overcoming the retaining force of a spring (14) to achieve opening, employs a bolt (11) rotatably supported in a longitudinally displaceable support carriage (8). A detent spring (14) keeps the bolt (11) in the closed position and will release it at a predetermined overpressure. During assembly or in the event of forced opening, the decompression lock is moved into the closed position solely by closing the flap or plate.
