The door includes a door body having an appliance-side plate and an outer-side decorative panel spaced from the appliance-side plate by a gap. A profiled cover extends at least between a portion of a side of the appliance-side plate to a portion of a side of the outer-side decorative panel such that the profiled cover closes off a side edge extent of the gap.

Abstract: A built-in device, in particular a kitchen device, is provided and includes a front side and a unit wall comprising a unit front surface. Said method consists of the following steps: at least one adjusting device is secured to the built-in device in such a manner that an adjusting edge of the adjusting device protrudes over the front side of the device, the built-in device is inserted into the furniture niche until the adjusting edge is aligned with the front surface of the unit, the built-in device is secured to the unit niche. The invention also relates to an adjusting tool which is adapted, particularly, for carrying out said inventive method.

The section of the wall and the reinforcing part are joined at a short distance from the opening without substantially heating the wall and the reinforcing part. The hollow body is foam-filled and the destructible material layer is removed in the area of the opening.
