  • Patent number: 6283172
Abstract: A device for repairing a tire fault by injecting repair liquid into the faulty tire, said liquid being present in a compressible liquid storage volume (100). Said volume (100) is sealed in such a way that it is watertight at at least one first sealing point (60) to be opened and is located in a pressurized container (56). Said pressurized container is subjected to the pressure of a pressurized gas from a pressurized gas source (28) in a compression chamber which becomes larger as it is affected by the pressurized gas. When the first sealing point (60) is opened, the volume (100) delivers repair liquid to the tire (12) through the opened first sealing point (60) be extracted from the volume.

  • Patent number: 4721150
Abstract: The subject matter of the invention is a device for supplying spray units for die casting machines each with a fluid containing water and additives for cooling, cleansing and lubricating purposes. The device contains at least one central tank (26,28) storing water comprising additives, whose concentration has been adjusted to a maximum. Said maximum value depends on casting materials, molds (18,20) and die casting methods which are carried out on the die casting machines (10,12). In another central tank (44) water is stored. The tanks (26,28,44) are connected to mixing valves (38,40) provided at each die casting machine (10,12). A pump is connected between the outlet of each mixing valve and the inlet of a respective spray unit at a die casting machine.

  • Patent number: 4665785
Abstract: A multiple station sequentially operating trim press is arranged to receive workpieces for subsequent transfer from a loading station to a treatment station by means of a pivotally mounted workpiece support. After trimming and deburring, the workpiece is transferred to a collection station and the workpiece support is moved to a cleaning station where its surface is washed free of residual trimmings. The workpiece support is then returned to its loading station and the sequence repeated.

  • Patent number: 4023467
Abstract: To permit dry operation of a piston within the cylinder, the cylinder is made of metal, and the piston is made of polytetrafluorethylene; the piston, preferably, is formed with an annular ring groove extending downwardly from an end face thereof to leave a circumferential lip, the groove having a spring located therein biasing the lip outwardly against the cylinder wall, to provide for sealing contact of the lip against the cylinder wall, which is additionally reinforced by pressure of the gas being compressed by movement of the piston within the cylinder, tending to expand the lip against the piston surface, at the time when the compression is highest, and sealing is the most desired.
