  • Patent number: 8088337
Abstract: The inventive ozone generator comprises at least one tubular external electrode (4), at least one internal electrode (7), wherein each internal electrode consists of a plurality of tubular metal segments (8) which are closed at least partially at each end and externally ceramic-coated, said tubular segments are disposed one behind another, mechanically de-coupled from each other and electrically connected, a rod (11) axially crosses the tubular segments (8) and is provided on the end thereof with means (12, 13) for axially clamping the tubular segments to each other in such a way that an electric contact is formed. Each tubular metal segment (8) is provided at each end thereof with an outwardly convex bottom (8a, 8b) which is embodied substantially in the form of a spherical cap, comprises a central area (18) for electric contact and is provided with a ceramic coating (9) consisting of at least two thin layers (9a, 9b).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 2004
Date of Patent: January 3, 2012
    Assignee: Ozonia International
Inventors: Helmut V. Lang, Guido Vezzu, Marcel Suter

  • Patent number: 4624111
Abstract: A preseparator for use in a saturated-steam turbine installation comprising an outer pipe, a first internal pipe positioned within the outer pipe and which includes a constriction, an annular gap of isokinetic size between the beginning of the internal pipe and the outer pipe, a second internal pipe positioned between the first internal pipe and the outer pipe so as to define chambers, and ports communicated with the chambers.

  • Patent number: 4541366
Abstract: In a feed water preheater of horizontal type with an integrated desuperheater, the last deflection chamber of the desuperheater is provided with lateral steam outlet ports (13). As a result, the desuperheated steam does not reach the condensation zone directly as hitherto by passing into the free cross-section of the tube bundle but, instead, it passes into the free space surrounding the condensation bundle (2) on which it can then act from the outside inwards at minimum flow velocity.
