    Abstract: The present invention relates to a seat for airplanes, buses and like vehicles. The seat comprises a frame, an upholstery support, and a three-piece device for locking both sides of the upholstery support in a selectable pivot position. The locking device includes a stepless adjustable-length bar in the nature of a hydraulic piston, a body for connecting the front end of the hydraulic piston to a front cross member of the seat frame, and a pivot lever for attaching the rear end of the hydraulic piston to a rear cross member of the upholstery support.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle seat, particularly for airplanes and buses. The seat has a support with an adjacent divider having a bore therethrough. A hollow pin has an end section detachably engaged in the bore of the adjacent seat divider. A back rest is mounted at one of its sides on the hollow pin. A connecting body is arranged in the bore of the seat divider and has a longitudinally threaded bore therethrough. A threaded bolt passes through the hollow pin and engages with the threaded bore through the connecting body. A folding table support is mounted on the threaded bolt for pivoting movement thereabout. A stop projects from the hollow pin and limits the pivot movement of the folding table support.

    Abstract: A vehicle seat with a pivotable backrest connected arrestably with the seat part in selectable positioning, the backrest carrying at least one seat accessory part. As a seat accessory part - carrier at least on one of the sides of the backrest a parallelogram is provided with two connecting rods extending in the longitudinal direction of the back. The parallelogram comprises a first connecting rod which is a part of the pillow carrier of the backrest, which part is pivotal about the pivot axis of the backrest, and a second connecting rod which on the one hand is articulated at an unchangeable position relative to the pivot axis of the backrest and on the other hand is articulated to a connection part of the parallelogram which in turn is pivotally connected with the first connecting rod. The seat accessory part which is to be carried is supported at least in its position of use on both connecting rods pivotal relative to the latter.
