  • Patent number: 7631939
Abstract: A vehicle seat has a base, a front pivotable link indirectly pivotably attached to the base, a rear pivotable link pivotably attached to the base, a seat frame, a seat cushion supported on the seat frame, and a backrest that is mounted on the seat frame by way of a fitting defining a backrest pivot axis. The seat frame is pivotably attached to the front pivotable link. The seat frame is pivotably attached to the rear pivotable link in a manner that defines a pivot axis (41) about which there can be relative pivoting between the rear pivotable link and the seat frame. The height and/or inclination of the seat cushion is adjustable relative to the base by moving the pivotable links. The pivot axis (41) is positioned rearwardly of the backrest pivot axis in at least one position of adjustment of the seat cushion and/or of the backrest.

  • Patent number: 5657911
Abstract: A tap head for keg fittings comprises a sliding guide means containing an annular seal and a guideway for pushing the tap head onto the protruding rim of a plate of the keg fittings, wherein at least the sliding guide means of the tap head consists of spring elastic material and a projecting guide piece of the guideway engages under the rim of the plate. The modulus of elasticity of the material forming the sliding guide means and the geometry and the dimensions of the guide piece are determined such that the guide piece undergoes deformation at a predetermined gas pressure in the housing of the tap head and a gap for the release of excess gas pressure is formed between the plate and the annular seal.

  • Patent number: 5176298
Abstract: A tap head for keg fittings having an actuating lever pivotally mounted on a housing and connected to a slide movable in the housing and detent members positively engaging in one another to lock the actuating lever and with one of the detent members directly biased toward the stop position and in which the detent members are formed of plastic and are made up of an elastically self-biasing tongue cooperating with a detent edge with one of the tongue and detent edge formed integrally on the housing and the other of the tongue and detent edge integrally formed on the actuating lever and with connections for gas and liquid connectable via the slide with corresponding passages in the keg fittings.

  • Patent number: 5098060
Abstract: A pinchcock comprises a housing, a tube section of elastically flexible material arranged in the housing, a pinching element displaceable in the housing in a direction extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the tube section and engaging on the outer side of the tube section and an actuating member for displacing the pinching element. The housing is designed as a plastic molded part, in which a ball is displaceable, as pinching element, in the direction extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the tube section. The actuating member comprises a cam engaging the ball, this cam being rotatable about an axis aligned at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the tube section and to the direction of displacement of the ball.

  • Patent number: 4828147
Abstract: A device for tapping beer or the like from cans comprises a housing with an outlet closable by a tapping valve and an air pump. Attached to the housing is a piercing pipe which can be introduced into the can and forms a beer discharge channel which is in communication with the outlet. The air supplied by the air pump flows separately from the beer through lateral air outlet openings of the piercing pipe into the can above the level of the beer and applies pressure to the beer. The flow cross-section of the beer discharge channel in the piercing pipe is determined substantially throughout its entire length by the internal diameter of this pipe. A thin-walled sleeve of smaller external diameter than the internal diameter of the piercing pipe which separates the beer discharge channel from the flow path of the supplied air and which is sealed relative to this channel below the air outlet openings is provided in the upper region only of the piercing pipe.

  • Patent number: 4685781
Abstract: This invention relates to spectacles in which are spectacle lens is connected to an individual component, for example a flange, by means of a fatening device. In the spectacle lens the two ends of a borehole are expanded into two borehole widenings which are engaged with a first protrusion on the flange and with a connecting element that is connected to a pin leading to the first protrusion. In addition, the flange has two further protrusions supporting themselves on the border of the spectacle lens, so that a four-point anchoring of the flange secured by the pin against pulling and by the additional protrusions against rotating is furnished on the spectacle lens and vice versa. A certain flange is suitable for given thicknesses and curvatures of the spectacle lens, because both on the front side and the back side of the spectacle lens it is not the front or back sides that define the gripping surfaces for the connecting element and first protrusion, but the borehole widening.
