  • Patent number: 4694681
Abstract: A measuring turbine with a turbine rotor arranged in a flow channel of the measuring housing comprises a turbine rotor and an inductive pulse pickup, wherein between the wall of the housing of the flow channel and the circumference of the turbine rotor an annular gap with an irregular configuration is present. The housing wall opposite the turbine rotor of the flow channel has at least one bore hole with a variable effective depth. The inductive measuring sensor is arranged in the bore, whereby the depth of insertion may be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 4459861
Abstract: A measuring turbine with a turbine rotor arranged in a flow channel of a measuring tube comprises flow rectifiers, a turbine rotor and an adjusting element capable of influencing the rotating velocity of the turbine rotor through the fluid to be measured. The adjusting element is located after the discharge flow rectifier in the flow channel and is designed to also serve as the discharge connection and the connector fitting. The adjusting element is provided with an element varying the flow cross section of a definite size. The adjusting element preferably has an internal cone with an orifice plate in front of it in the direction of the flow.

  • Patent number: 4451207
Abstract: A turbine rotor for a flow meter comprises a cylindrical rotor disk having a rotor axis, a plurality of rotor vanes extending radially from the rotor disk and a flat surface between the bases of each of the vanes. This construction permits the efficient start-up of the turbine rotor at flows of low viscosity.

  • Patent number: 4367888
Abstract: A hose coupling device for multiple hose connections having a tightly fitted hose fitting comprises a plug portion, hose fitting means hose fitting pins and a socket portion consisting of a flange adaptor section and a spacer section. The flange adaptor section comprises a flange adaptor means having a plurality of bores, a releasable plate means connected to the flange adaptor means with a clamping bolt having a central bore receiving a guide pin means. The spacer section comprises a shell means with a plurality of bores for registering with the flange adaptor section bores and means connecting the spacer section bores to the releasable plate means.

  • Patent number: 3986357
Abstract: A control device for a driving unit which comprises an internal combustion engine and a hydrostatic vehicle transmission. The hydraulic adjusting members of the control unit are in response to a relief of pressure automatically by spring force moved to their starting position and are connected to a control circuit which is connectable to the pressure line of a constant delivery pump and is also by a control member connectable to a fluid return line for purposes of setting a control pressure. An adjustable measuring orifice of a limit load control is arranged in the above mentioned pressure line and, when looking in flow direction, is located ahead of the connection of the control member. The control member of the adjustable orifice is connected, for instance, to the gas pedal of the internal combustion engine. A check valve is arranged in a conduit extending from the limit load control to the control circuit of the hydrostatic transmission.

  • Patent number: 3986358
Abstract: A hydrostatic vehicle transmission with a primary and/or secondary part adjustable as to its delivery and its absorption capacity respectively. The hydraulic adjusting elements of said primary and/or secondary part are automatically by spring force adjusted in the direction toward their starting position and are connected to a control circuit which is adapted to be connected to the pressure conduit of a constant delivery pump and is also adapted for controlling the control pressure to be connected to a return line by means of a control member. An adjustable orifice of a limit load control is arranged in the pressure line, which orifice is arranged ahead of the connection of the control member when looking in flow direction. The adjusting member of said limit load control may for instance be connected to the gas pedal or manually operable gas lever of an internal combustion engine for instance a Diesel engine while the hydrostatic vehicle transmission also serves as vehicle brake.
