  • Publication number: 20140316128
Abstract: Described are oligo- and polysaccharides containing amine groups. Specifically, described is a new process to manufacture cationic cellulose oligomers. The new cationic oligo- or polysaccharides are useful ingredients in various aqueous compositions, inter alia as ingredients for personal care compositions.

  • Publication number: 20080194715
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of copolymers obtainable by copolymerization of at least one ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride derived from at least one dicarboxylic acid having 4 to 8 carbon atoms and at least one oligomer of branched or unbranched C3-C10-alkene, where at least one oligomer has an average molecular weight Mn in the range from 300 to 5000 g/mol, preferably up to 1200 g/mol or is obtainable by oligomerization of at least 3 equivalents of C3-C10-alkene, in cosmetic compositions.

  • Publication number: 20080193405
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of, if appropriate present in the form of an aqueous dispersion, polymers of ethylenically unsaturated anionic monomers for modifying the rheology of aqueous, alcoholic or aqueous/alcoholic cosmetic or dermatological compositions. The polymers are obtainable by free-radical emulsion copolymerization of water-soluble inorganic monomers in aqueous phase in the presence of, in each case, at least one stabilizing polymer of groups a) and b). The emulsion polymers are exceptionally suitable for thickening cosmetic or dermatological preparations based either on water or on alcohols.
