    Abstract: An antifungal gel composition, effective at 0.2-2.0% by weight of an imidazole antifungal agent and 0.01-2.5% by weight of a 17-ester corticosteroid antiinflammatory agent, is provided for topical administration. This composition is highly effective in treating fungal infections and is capable of being stored without refrigeration for long periods of time without losing therapeutic effectiveness and while maintaining the uniformity and stability of the gel.
