    Abstract: The catheter comprises a tube-like basic body having a proximal end, a distal end section, a distal end and a central lumen; two active elements, at least one of which is a balloon, mounted on the distal end section of the basic body; the basic body further having a wall hole located at a position in between the distal end and the proximal end and close to a proximal end of the most proximal of the two active elements; a separate tube-like member received in the central lumen of the basic body and extending from an end hole at the distal end of the basic body to the wall hole and fixed close to the wall hole for receiving a guide wire.
