  • Publication number: 20090134308
Abstract: A mould member for moulding three-dimensional products from a mass of one or more food starting materials, which are suitable for consumption, in particular human consumption, comprises a body having a porous structure and a plurality of mould cavities, which mould cavities each have a mould cavity wall defined by the body and an opening in a surface of the body, wherein the body comprises at least one essentially fluid tight barrier.

  • Publication number: 20070298148
Abstract: A treatment device (10) for treating food products with conditioned air comprises a housing (12) with a product inlet (20) and product outlet (22), which housing (12) defines a treatment chamber (26, 28). The device (10) comprises at least one conveyor means (24) for conveying the products through the treatment chamber from the product inlet to the product outlet, air-circulation means (44, 46) for causing an air stream to flow through the treatment chamber, and air-conditioning means (36, 38) for conditioning the air stream, which air-conditioning means at least comprise heating means (36) and moisture-feed means (38).

  • Publication number: 20050265424
Abstract: A thermocouple includes two wires made from different metals. The wires extend in a first direction. At one of their ends, the wires are in contact with one another and form a measurement point. To prevent the measurement signal being interfered with, the ends are bent with respect to the said first direction. This allows an arrangement of the thermocouple in which the measurement point is not located at the lowest point of the thermocouple.

  • Publication number: 20050220932
Abstract: The invention provides a method for moulding three-dimensional products from a mass of foodstuff starting materials which are suitable for consumption, in particular a meat mass. The method comprises the steps of filling a mould cavity, which is open on one side, with the mass of foodstuff starting materials which are suitable for consumption, which mould cavity is defined by a boundary comprising walls and base, in order to mould a moulded three-dimensional product, and the removal of the moulded three-dimensional product from the mould cavity. In the method according to the invention, during removal the adhesion forces between the moulded product and the boundary are eliminated virtually simultaneously along all the interfaces.
