  • Patent number: 11979074
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor suspension for rigid and watertight mounting of a motor to a housing of an electric device, an electric device comprising such a motor suspension and a hair cutting device comprising an electric device with such a motor suspension. The motor suspension comprises a motor fixation element, a sealing suspension element and a motor axis seal. The motor fixation element is configured to provide a rigid connection of a motor to a housing in one direction, while it provides some flexibility in another direction for not deforming the housing. The sealing suspension element is configured for providing a fluid-tight connection to the housing, and the motor axis seal is configured for providing a fluid tight connection of the sealing suspension element to a rotational axis of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20230226706
Abstract: There is provided a spacing assembly (200) comprising a support body (210) and a moveable body (212) received in a guide track of the support body (210). The first guide track allows movement of the moveable body (212) in a spacing direction (203) but restricts the moveable body (212) in a lateral direction (205) perpendicular to the spacing direction (203). An adjuster (222) comprises first and second spiral channels (702, 704), which are arranged about a common point (706) on a surface of the adjuster (222) and engage a first lug (440) of the support body (210) and a second lug (442) of the moveable body (212), respectively, such that the adjuster (222) is rotatable about the common point (706). Rotation of the adjuster (222) drives the moveable body (212), under the lateral restriction of the first guide track (202), to move relative to the support body (210) in the spacing direction (203).

  • Patent number: 10029377
Abstract: The present application relates to a hair trimming device (10). The hair trimming device has a body (11) with a cutting blade assembly (20). A cutting guide (40) is provided on the body and the position of the cutting guide is adjustable relative to the cutting blade assembly to provide a cutting distance from a user's skin to enable hair to be cut to a desired length. A locking unit (60) is also provided to lock the cutting guide at a desired position relative to the cutting blade assembly. The locking unit comprises a first locking element (64), a second locking element (65) and at least one receiving recess (83). The first and second locking elements are alternately locatable in the or one of the receiving recesses when the position of the cutting guide is adjusted relative to the cutting blade assembly to lock the cutting guide at different positions.
