  • Publication number: 20050122682
Abstract: An electronics arrangement has at least one ventilator and at least one essentially flat support structure which is fitted with one or more electronic components and which is provided with one or more cooling ribs. A cooling air passage passing through the flat support structure is configured therein. The ventilator and the cooling air passage are configured and arranged in such a way that the ventilator produces a cooling air stream, so that the cooling air first passes along one side of the support structure, in a function whereby at least one component and/or a cooling rib are cooled, then passes through the cooling air passage and subsequently, flows along the other side of the support structure in a function whereby at least one electronic component and/or a cooling rib are cooled. This enables efficient cooling of the electronic components of the electronic arrangements.

  • Patent number: 5047641
Abstract: The gantry of a scintillation camera is automatically counterbalanced about two parallel axes. One axis passes through the detector. The other axis is a tilt axis about which a gantry structure which supports the detector may be tilted. The gantry is also counterbalanced about an axis of rotation. A collimator may be detachably secured to the detector and automatically identified. The gantry is automatically adjusted to counterbalance it in accordance with the collimator which has been attached to the detector. In the preferred embodiment, the gantry is counterbalanced even when no collimator is secured to the detector.

  • Patent number: 4728532
Abstract: A tubular metal object is rotated about its longitudinal axis and a layer of tape and synthetic thermosetting resin is wrapped around the object at room temperature. The object is inductively heated substantially uniformly through its thickness a plurality of times progressively from one end to the other subsequent to the wrapping to a temperature sufficient to allow the resin to flow on the outer surface of the object. The object is further inductively heated to a temperature at which the resin will cure, and the object is then cooled to room temperature.
