  • Patent number: 10716719
Abstract: A diaper fastener is provided of the type having a substantially planar elastically extensible base member and three spaced hook units that have teeth operable to engage the fabric of a diaper in relevant zones thereof with the elastically extensible part stretched and operative to maintain the teeth in engagement with the diaper fabric to hold the diaper in its functional position. At least one of the hook units and generally all three are each composed of two parts that are permanently clipped together from opposite sides of the base member by inter-engaging formations. One of the parts has the hook teeth formed integral therewith and the two parts co-operate with the base member to physically locate the hook unit on the base member. Preferably, each hook unit is carried by an arm forming part of the planar base. Each hook unit has a hook part and a clamping part.

  • Publication number: 20150351558
Abstract: A baby supporting chair (1) is provided that comprises a generally rigid outer support shell (2) of generally dome shape with a lower periphery (3) for supporting the chair (1), directly or indirectly, on a generally horizontal surface. The outer support shell (2) has, in plan view, a baby receiving zone in a central region for receiving at least a lower trunk of a baby, in use. At least one, and typically two, channels (5) extend from the central region for receiving, in use, the legs of a baby projecting outwards generally beyond an outer extremity of the outer support shell (2). A baby restraining member, typically in the form of a pillar, inhibits a baby from sliding out of the chair (1). A relatively flexible inner baby support member (7) is attached to the outer support member to provide a relatively flexible seat (11) portion, a backrest (12) portion, and sidewall (13) portions to the baby receiving zone.

  • Patent number: 7024774
Abstract: The disclosure provides nail clippers having a pair of jaws shaped to provide oppositely disposed arcuate cutting edges and biased to an open position with a shield extending around and projecting forwardly of the corners of the cutting edges. The shield also can extend rearwardly from the cutting edges to form manipulating levers for operating the jaws. These can be aesthetically designed to provide the nail clippers with the appearance of an animate object such as a butterfly, or an inanimate object such as a vehicle.
