  • Publication number: 20060292260
Abstract: A gating structure (13) for molding connects with a mold cavity (300). The gating structure includes a first gate (100), a second gate (200), an ejector sleeve (400) and an ejector pin (500). The second gate connects with the first gate at an angle. The ejector pin extends through the ejector sleeve. One part of the ejector pin fixes in the ejector sleeve, the other par of the ejector pin is received in the second gate.

  • Patent number: 6320025
Abstract: Reaction vessels suitable for solid phase polymer synthesis generally comprise: a housing defining a chamber for containing a resin, said housing having an operable inlet port and an operable outlet port in fluid communication with said chamber; and an elongate resin filter having an interior bore, and adapted to enable filtered fluid flow from an exterior inlet surface thereof into the filter interior bore, said filter being disposed in said chamber and having an outlet connection fluidly coupling said filter interior bore to the housing outlet port such that fluid flowing through the housing inlet port into the chamber passes through the filter inlet surface, into the filter interior bore and out the housing outlet port.

  • Patent number: 6263255
Abstract: An Advanced Process Control (APC) Framework performs automatic process control operations through the design and development of a software framework that integrates factory, process, and equipment control systems. The APC Framework benefits semiconductor-manufacturing factories, or “fabs,” throughout the development of the APC Framework by using an iterative development approach. The APC Framework is designed to integrate seamlessly with commercially-available APC tools. The APC Framework specifies components and a component structure that enable multiple vendors to build and sell framework-compatible products using an open architecture that accommodates plug-and-play components. The APC Framework advantageously increases product yield distributions and equipment utilization, and lowers defect densities.

  • Patent number: 5453487
Abstract: The invention provides methods and apparatuses for solid-phase peptide synthesis which employ solvent/reagent delivery and measuring systems open to atmospheric pressure coupled to pressurized transfer and reaction systems. The delivery and measuring systems consists of multiple solvent vessels connected to a metering vessel through individual, uninterrupted solvent lines. The metering vessel is connected to a transfer vessel by a valve through which solvent is gravity fed to the transfer vessel. The solvent is now in a closed, single pathway system and can be pressurized from the transfer vessel to a reaction vessel. This closed system allows the complete inversion of the reaction vessel; with the advantage of guaranteeing complete resin to solvent contact without any possibility of loss of resin product.

This closed system allows the complete inversion of the reaction vessel; with the advantage of guaranteeing complete resin to solvent contact without any possibility of loss of resin product. All of the steps are accomplished by the opening and closing of individual valves that are controlled through a personal computer and system software that allow the user to do these steps individually or in any combination and length.
