    Abstract: An optical signal amplification apparatus and a related optical communication device. The apparatus may include a pump light source, a combiner assembly, a doped optical fiber, and an optical filter. The pump light source may be configured to emit a pump beam. The combiner assembly is configured to combine a signal beam and the pump beam and couple a combined beam into the doped optical fiber. The doped optical fiber is configured to amplify the signal beam under excitation by the pump beam. The signal beam includes one or more single-wavelength signals. The optical filter is disposed between two ends of the doped optical fiber and configured to transmit the signal beam and filter out a first beam in the doped optical fiber. The first beam includes a beam of some wavelengths or all wavelengths generated by spontaneous emission in the doped optical fiber.

The optical distribution network includes a splitter, a first optical filter, and a first power change assembly. The splitter includes at least two output ports, each output port corresponds to at least one first optical filter, different output ports correspond to different first optical filters, and center wavelengths of detection light that the different first optical filters allow to pass through or do not allow to pass through are different. Each output port of each splitter in an Nth-level splitter corresponds to the first power change assembly, and the first power change assembly is configured to change a power of first service light based on received first detection light.

    Abstract: An optical amplification apparatus includes a plurality of input ends configured to receive a plurality of first optical signals with different wavelengths, a plurality of output ends configured to output a plurality of second optical signals obtained by amplifying the first optical signals, and a first pump source configured to provide a first pump light for amplifying the first optical signals. The apparatus also includes a first multi-port wavelength division multiplexing coupler having a plurality of first connection ports connected to the input ends. The apparatus further includes a first optical fiber connection cable connecting the first pump source with the first multi-port wavelength division multiplexing coupler. The first optical fiber connection cable is configured to transmit the first pump light. The apparatus additionally includes an active optical fiber connection cable having an active doped fiber for transmitting and amplifying a plurality of third optical signals.

The light spot conversion component is configured to adjust light spot sizes of at least some optical signals in received optical signals to output a first optical signal transmitted in space. The pump laser is configured to excite the gain medium. The gain medium is configured to adjust a gain of the first optical signal to output a second optical signal.

    Abstract: This application discloses an optical amplifier including a Raman fiber amplifier (RFA), a dynamic gain equalizer (DGE), a filter, an erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA), an RFA gain controller, an EDFA gain controller, and an optical amplifier controller. The optical amplifier controller is configured to provide instructions to and receive feedback from the RFA and EDFA gain controllers. The RFA and the EDFA are configured to amplify an optical signal. The RFA gain controller is configured to control the RFA to adjust a gain. The EDFA gain controller is configured to control the EDFA to adjust a gain. The DGE adjusts insertion loss. The filter is configured to filter an amplified spontaneous emission signal produced in an optical amplification process of the RFA.
