  • Patent number: 11930332
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for recognizing at least one naturally emitted sound produced by a real-life sound source in an environment comprising at least one artificial sound source. The method is implemented by an audio recognition device, and it includes simultaneously obtaining a first audio signal from a first microphone located in the environment and a second audio signal from an audio acquisition device associated with the at least one artificial sound source; analyzing the first audio signal, delivering a first list of sound classes corresponding to sounds recognized in the first audio signal; analyzing the second audio signal, delivering a second list of sound classes corresponding to sounds recognized in the second audio signal; and delivering a third list of sound classes, comprising only sound classes included in the first list of sound classes which are not included in the second list of sound classes.

  • Publication number: 20230262468
Abstract: In a context of virtualized access points deployment, an access point of a first wireless network is split in a radio equipment deployed at the user premises and a radio equipment controller deployed in a data centre located a few kilometres from the user premises, the radio equipment and the radio equipment controller being interconnected via a wired network connection. In order to establish a secure wireless connection of a device to the virtualized access point in a user-friendly manner, a salient idea is to receive at the radio equipment controller in the data centre a first and a second information items respectively emulating a first action of a user on the first device and a second action of the user on the virtualized access point.

  • Patent number: 9191702
Abstract: The present invention concerns a data requesting device enabling flexible obtaining of data, notably AV (Audio/Video) data, with possibly limited required resources in terms of processing, memory and storing, included from a remote server through a WAN. The requesting device of the invention may notably allow to pause and retrieve a movie being played from such a server.

  • Patent number: 7877439
Abstract: It relates notably to a data requesting device from a data server, comprising means for sending requests of determined data to the server, means for receiving streamed data from that server and for providing said data to processing means, and means for producing pause control signals, intended for pausing data streaming, and for triggering their sending to the server. The requesting device comprises means for generating normal state signals, intended to the server for testifying normal operation at the requesting device, and for triggering periodic transmission of those signals to the server.

  • Patent number: 7155000
Abstract: The invention relates to the control of access of various appliances of an installation which are connected to a telephone line. The appliances have a priority level. There is provision for the dispatching, on the request of an appliance performing a line seizure operation, to the other appliances, of an off-hook signal representative of the priority level of the appliance, when this level is higher than that of at least one other appliance of the installation. The signal is dispatched on the occasion of the line seizure operation and for the duration of the connection of the appliance to the line, if no off-hook signal of a higher priority level is dispatched. There is also provision for a disconnection of the line for any appliance which receives an off-hook signal dispatched for an appliance having a higher priority level.
