  • Patent number: 9266044
Abstract: A combination (10) of a replaceable filter element (21) and a core element (38) is provided, the filter element comprising a tubular wall (25) of filtration medium for collecting material in a fluid stream passing through the tubular wall (25), a first end part (26) and a second end part. The core element (38) comprises a perforated tube (39) having transverse outer dimensions smaller than transverse inner dimensions of the tubular wall (25), and a bypass valve member (35) provided at one end of the perforated tube (39). The bypass valve member (35) is tubular and moveably attached to the perforated tube (39) for movement in axial direction with respect to the perforated tube (39) between an extended position and a retracted position. The first end part (26) of the filter element (21) comprises an axial passage (29) configured to receive the bypass valve member (35) slideable and sealingly.

  • Patent number: 8783471
Abstract: A filter assembly includes a head, a filter housing which can be connected to the head, and a filter element which can be received in the filter housing. The filter element includes a tubular wall provided with a filtration medium; a first end part provided at a first axial end of the filter element; and a second end part provided at a second axial end of the filter element. The second end part of the filter element is provided with a either a protrusion or an undercut opening, on the one hand, and the second end of the housing is provided with either an undercut opening or a protrusion, on the other hand. A side of the protrusion or opening is provided with a sloping face which slopes at a slope with respect to the axial direction of the filter element.

  • Publication number: 20140091029
Abstract: A filter assembly comprises a filter housing (23) into which a filter element is insertable. A core element (38) is provided extending within the housing (23. The filter assembly comprises a coupling assembly (200) that is insertable into the housing (23), the coupling assembly (200) comprising a leaf spring (201) having a span larger than an internal diameter of the filter housing (23), such that when the leaf spring (201) is inserted into the filter housing (23) the outer edge of the leaf spring (201) engages an inner surface of the filter housing (23) and the leaf spring (201) bulges in the direction of insertion of the leaf spring into the housing, preventing removal of the leaf spring, in a direction opposite to the insertion direction, from the filter housing (23), the coupling assembly (200) comprising a connecting part for connecting the core element (38) to the coupling assembly (200).
