  • Patent number: 9505198
Abstract: An elastic laminate is made by first coextruding a film having an elastic outer film layer formed of a styrene-block copolymer and an inner film layer of lesser elasticity than the outer layer. An outer fleece web with an outer adhesive layer is then adhered to the outer film layer, and an inner fleece web with an inner adhesive layer is adhered to the inner film layer so as to form between the inner fleece web and the inner film layer a bond that is weaker than a bond formed by the outer adhesive layer between the outer fleece web and the outer film layer. Thereafter the coextruded film bonded by the inner and outer adhesive layers to the outer and inner fleece webs is prestretched such that the weak bond formed by the inner adhesive layer separates only locally from the inner film layer but the bond formed by the outer adhesive layer remains intact.

  • Patent number: 9457543
Abstract: An elastomer laminate has an elastomer carrier layer composed of a thermoplastic elastomer, and at least one microtextured cover layer composed of a polymer that has a lower elasticity than the material of the carrier layer. The microtexture is produced by stretching the laminate beyond the elasticity limit of the cover layer and elastic recovery of the stretched laminate. The microtextured cover layer contains a plurality of pores.

  • Publication number: 20160174775
Abstract: A liquid-dispensing pad has a perforated generally elastic film forming a front wall, a liquid-impervious plastic rear wall, a weld peripherally securing the front wall to the rear wall, and a liquid-retaining core between the front and rear walls. The perforated film is a coextruded film having an elastic inner layer turned toward the core and an inelastic outer cover layer turned away from the core. This cover layer forms an outer face of the liquid-dispensing pad and is composed of polyolefin. A thickness of the cover layer is less than 15 ?m, and a thickness ratio of the elastic inner layer to the inelastic outer cover layer is at least 10:1.

  • Patent number: 7601658
Abstract: The invention relates to an elastic laminate. The laminate is made from a co-extruded elastic film, comprising an elastomeric support layer, at least one cover layer and at least one textile outer layer made from a non-woven. The cover layer has a low layer thickness by comparison with the support layer. The outer layer is laminated onto the cover layer. According to the invention, the cover layer is made from an elastomeric material, with essentially the same expansion properties as the material of the support layer and contains additives for modification of the surface properties.
