  • Patent number: 10364639
Abstract: This invention relates to a sealing apparatus, system and method for use in a well pipe. The apparatus has a mandrel arranged around a center axis through the apparatus, a radially movable gripping device arranged around the mandrel, a radially movable packer element arranged around the mandrel, and an axially movable activation device designed to set up axial forces for activating the apparatus. The apparatus also includes a radially movable centralizer arranged around the mandrel for centring the apparatus. The activation device being operatively connected to the gripping device, the packer element and the centralizer for the respective activation and radial movement of each, via power transmission of axial forces, between retracted, passive positions and expanded, active positions relative to the center axis of the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20100187763
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sealing device comprising a sealing (1) which is threaded onto a sleeve (7), where the sleeve (7) is located in a base tube (11) comprising valve ports (12), and where the sealing device shall seal between the sleeve (7) and the base tube (11). The invention is characterized in that the sealing (1) is held in place by support rings (2), where the support rings is held in place by locking rings (3), where the lockings rings (3) fit into an inner suitable locking groove (6) in the sleeve (7), where the sleeve (7) comprises a threaded portion (8), where a locking nut (5) comprising an outer suitable locking groove (6) is arranged to be screwed over the sleeves (7) threaded portion (8) and to be tightened sufficiently to hold the locking rings (3), support rings (2) and sealing (1) in place outside the sleeve (7).

  • Patent number: 6786085
Abstract: To prevent the dirt present in the fuel from depositing on the filter material so that the resistance to the flow through the filter material rises continuously overtime, a fuel system for a vehicle is provided in such a way that the throughflow resistance of the fuel filter remain almost constant. This is achieved as a result of the formation of a deposition tank in a housing of the fuel filter under the filter material located in a housing, in which the dirt from the fuel is deposited and as a result of a pressure accumulator in the fuel system causes the fuel stored in pressure accumulator to rinse the fuel filter after the engine has been switched off.

  • Patent number: 6000421
Abstract: A cooling circuit includes a valve device (1, 1', 1") for a separate heat exchanger (42), especially of an internal combustion engine (48). To achieve a combined pressure limitation and pipe or hose break valve, a valve body (6, 35, 50), upon reaching a coolant throughput for maximum heat transfer in heat exchangers (42) located downstream, is actuated as a function of delivery pressure into an engaged position with a valve seat (5, 51). A throttle passage (7, 36, 52) maintains a coolant throughput that corresponds to maximum heat transfer. In the event of a pipe or hose break, the valve body (6, 35, 50) serving as part of a pipe or hose break is locked in a closed position.
