  • Publication number: 20210119575
Abstract: A junction box for an electrical connection of a photovoltaic module, comprising a plug-in module and a housing module. The plug-in module comprises a plug element and a connection element, wherein the plug element enables a plug-in connection with an external electrical connection line, and the connection element provides a connection option for an internal electrical supply line into the photovoltaic module. The housing module can be connected to, and detached from, the plug-in module and can also be attached to the photovoltaic module in order to offer protection of a connection area of the photovoltaic module against outer influences.

  • Publication number: 20180226916
Abstract: A mounting system for mounting a photovoltaic module onto at least one mounting rail. The mounting system comprises a frame for the photovoltaic module with at least one opening or protrusion at a lateral side or a bottom side of the frame, the bottom side being opposite to light incidence side of the photovoltaic module. The mounting system further comprises a plurality of mounting elements, each comprising a first portion and a second portion for securing the frame to the at least one mounting rail, the first portion defining a hook-like engagement portion to hook into the opening or the protrusion or the bottom side of the frame to provide an interlocking connection, the second portion enabling a secure fixation to the at least one mounting rail.

  • Publication number: 20180212556
Abstract: A solar module having a laminate with two lateral edges, an upper edge and a lower edge. A frame profile extended along a direction of extension is secured on at least one of the lateral and/or upper and/or lower edges of the laminate. The frame profile has in cross-section an outer edge and a U-shaped receiving section with upper and lower U-shaped limbs for receiving one of the laminate edges, and is integrally constructed from a metal strip, which forms the outer edge of the frame profile with an edge plane. The upper U-shaped limb is configured as an upturn of the entire metal strip from the edge plane, and the lower U-shaped limb is configured as metal support sections adjacent in the direction of extension and spaced apart from one another, which metal support sections are bent away from the edge plane as integral parts of the metal strip.

  • Publication number: 20170170778
Abstract: A solar module having a solar module laminate and a rectangular solar module frame which supports the solar module laminate and is assembled by frame profiles which are respectively connected to each other by pairs to a corner connection, wherein at least one of the corner connections is formed by connection of a first frame profile of the frame profiles to an adjacent second frame profile of the frame profiles by a flap. Further, the invention relates to a solar module frame designed to support a solar module laminate and assembled by frame profiles which are respectively connected to each other by pairs to a corner connection, wherein at least one of the corner connections is formed by connection of a first frame profile of the frame profiles to an adjacent second frame profile of the frame profiles by means of a flap.

  • Publication number: 20160233823
Abstract: A solar-module frame profile for framing a solar-module laminate. The solar-module frame profile has a frame groove formed from a front-side leg and a rear-side leg and a frame-groove crosspiece which spaces apart the front-side leg and the rear-side leg and from which the legs extend away laterally, forming the frame groove along an opening direction. The front-side leg has a front-side-leg end portion, which is spaced apart from the crosspiece, and a front-side-leg extent portion arranged between the frame-groove crosspiece and the end portion, and defines a front-side-adhesive-bonding plane for bonding the solar-module frame profile to the solar-module-laminate front side. The end portion projects out of the plane in the direction of the rear-side leg by an adhesive-bonding extent. The front-side leg has formed in it an adhesive cavity for accommodating adhesive beyond the adhesive-bonding extent, and/or the end portion has formed in it an adhesive cavity.
