  • Publication number: 20050012417
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine, in particular a generator, which has a bearing (19) supported on a hub (22), whereby a bearing part of the bearing (19) is loaded by a spring element (25) producing an axial force (FA). The spring element (25) is plastically deformed.

  • Patent number: 5735762
Abstract: A pulley, in particular a free-running pulley, comprises a pulley body having an throughgoing opening for mounting on a shaft end of a machine and provided with an inner thread cooperating with a counter-thread of the shaft end. The throughgoing opening has a portion which is arranged forwardly of the inner thread and being provided on its periphery with a contour repeating at regular distances from one another and adapted for a form-locking engagement of a tool for tightening or loosening the pulley body on the shaft.

  • Patent number: 5331231
Abstract: The rectifier device has a metallic front cooling plate and a rear cooling plate spaced from each other and extending parallel to each other; positive diodes arranged on one cooling plate and negative diodes arranged on the other cooling plate; a printed circuit board made of insulating material fastened between the cooling plates and having conductors for connecting the diodes with each other and also with a three-phrase generator; electrical connection device for making electrical connection with the front cooling plate comprising a threaded bolt having a flange, an annular shoulder and an axial pin projecting into an opening of the rear cooling plate, the threaded bolt being pressed in a hole in the front cooling plate and the flange and shoulder being dimensioned so that the annular shoulder contacts on a rear side of the front cooling plate, and a nut screwed on the threaded bolt from a front side of the front cooling plate to secure the threaded bolt in the hole; and an insulating material bush received

  • Patent number: 4952829
Abstract: In a rectifier supporting device for (three-phase) generators which is intended particularly for motor vehicles, buses and the like, cooling plates carrying the rectifier diodes are constructed as heat sinks following the circular shape of an end shield of the generator and segment-like cut out portion for a brush holder of the generator. Each of the heat sinks is supported at an axial distance from, but coaxial with, a circuit board arranged between the two heat sinks. The circuit board has a shape corresponding to that of the heat sinks and provides electric connections to the diode head wires and stator wires. In an advantageous construction of the circuit board, sheathe-like guides extend downward until adjacent to the stator phase windings and receive the stator wires guided up toward the circuit board in an insulated passage through the facing three-phase generator housing parts and heat sink areas.

  • Patent number: 4459499
Abstract: A three-phase current alternator is particularly suited for automotive vehicles having three-phase current coils and three diode pairs for the alternator load current. The diodes of each pair are connected with one another and with one each of the three-phase current coils by conductive tracks located in, or over, a connection plate. An interference-reducing capacitor which, together with connection tabs, forms a prefabricated unit, is molded into the connection plate, the tabs positioning the capacitor in the production mold.

  • Patent number: 4359656
Abstract: Bus strips of steel or brass, rivetted where necessary to the brush holder and to a flat plate member integral therewith serve to connect the terminals of the voltage regulator mounted on the flat plate to the brush holder and to terminals for positive and negative voltage, the exicitor winding of a generator and the D+ and D- terminals. The bus strips are soldered or welded to the terminals they connect so as to provide reliable connections for the life of the device. The negative terminal connection includes a bushing in a mounting eye of the flat plate and the positive terminal is provided as a pressure contact.
