  • Patent number: 7204533
Abstract: The present invention relates to a collapsible animal faeces collector device (1) having a handle portion (2) and a receptacle support (6), supporting a receptacle (8) with an upwardly facing surface (10) for receiving a faecal deposit (24). The device (1) is of a lightweight construction, the handle (2) and receptacle support (6) have just sufficient strength to bear in cantilevered support an empty receptacle (8) for manipulation into a faeces-receiving position on the ground below an animal's anus, but insufficient strength to bear in cantilevered support a receptacle (8) loaded with faeces. The receptacle (8), when empty, is supported equally around the receptacle support (6) by a rim portion (12). When the device (1) loaded with faeces (24) is suspended, the rim portion (12) moves on the receptacle support (6) to collect together over the contents of the receptacle (8). The handle portion and receptacle support are preferably inflatable.

  • Patent number: 5834746
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the heat treatment of meat products in a feeding element (4) by means of high-frequency electromagnetic waves, and an apparatus for the execution of the method. The invention also relates to an advantageous application of an apparatus according to the invention. The object of the invention is to increase the depth of penetration of the electromagnetic waves in a product which is to be heated or boiled, where the electrodes (2, 3; 20, 22) are external and placed on the outside of the feeding element (4). The object is achieved by placing a product electrode (15) in the feeding element (4), in that said product electrode (15) serves as a short-circuiting element and is of a material having an electrical conductivity which is better than that of the product that is required to be heat treated.

  • Patent number: 4919951
Abstract: A method for heat curing a raw meat medium is disclosed wherein the meat medium is conveyed through a pipe while being subjected to electromagnetic waves having a frequency of less than 300 MHz. A continuous heating of the meat medium is hereby effected so that the heating thereof is finished when it leaves the pipe and immediately thereafter while its temperature is still at least 70.degree. C., can be cut into slices or pieces and packed.
