  • Patent number: 11780028
Abstract: A method for separating a workpiece along a separation line by using ultrashort laser pulses of a laser beam includes splitting the laser beam, using a beam splitter optical unit, into a plurality of partial laser beams. Each partial laser beam is focused by a focusing optical unit onto a surface and/or into a volume of the workpiece so that the partial laser beams are arranged next to one another and spaced apart from one another along the separation line. The method further includes implementing material ablation in the workpiece along the separation line by introducing the ultrashort laser pulses into the workpiece. The partial laser beams are repeatedly moved away from an initial position along the separation line by a deflection value and are subsequently moved back into the initial position. The deflection value is less than or equal to a distance between two adjacent partial laser beams.

  • Patent number: 8231370
Abstract: An apparatus and method for depositing synthetic fibers to form a non-woven web includes guiding the synthetic fibers by a blowing stream through a drawing unit for depositing on a deposit belt. Multiple guidance elements are arranged inside the guidance distance between a blast opening of the drawing unit and the deposit belt, and form a guidance channel above the deposit belt. The guidance elements form a channel opening at a distance from the blast opening of the drawing unit. In order to achieve constant strength in the deposition of the fiber strands, the distance between the outlet of the drawing unit and the channel opening of the guidance channel is larger than half the guidance distance, and the guidance width of an open space formed between the outlet of the drawing unit and the channel opening of the guidance channel is larger than the guidance channel.

  • Patent number: 8178015
Abstract: A process and a device involves melt-spinning and cooling synthetic filaments. Therein, a plurality of filaments is extruded from a polymer melt and, after the extrusion, is guided into a cooling shaft for cooling. Within the cooling shaft cool air is blown, via a blower wall, into the cooling shaft, where, for cooling, the filaments are guided along the blower wall and at a distance from it. In order to obtain cooling adapted to the particular filament titer, the blowing onto the filaments can be set by selecting one of several operating positions, where to change the operating position of the blower wall it is moved in the direction towards the filaments or in the direction away from the filaments.

  • Publication number: 20090152762
Abstract: A method and a device for melt spinning and depositing synthetic filaments into a nonwoven material are described. The synthetic filaments are extruded and pulled off here simultaneously next to one another in several filament groups and deposited jointly on a belt. Taking into consideration a later final processing of the nonwoven material, the filaments of the filament groups are deposited next to one another to form separate filament webs which are guided next to and parallel to one another. Narrower nonwoven webs can be produced even from very large production widths. For this purpose, the extrusion means and the pull-off means are disposed above the belt in such a manner that the filaments of the filament groups can be laid to form separate nonwoven webs.

  • Publication number: 20080197522
Abstract: A device and method for producing a spun-bonded non-woven. A molten polymer supplied to a spinning beam from a melt source is extruded through a multiplicity of linearly arranged spinneret bores into filaments arranged in the form of a curtain. A tensile force is exerted on the filaments by means of a draw-off nozzle. The filaments are thereupon deposited on to a conveyer belt where they form a spun-bonded non-woven. At the draw-off nozzle, a monitoring means is provided which detects a characteristic quantity characteristic of the process. One or more structure-borne sound sensors are preferably used as monitoring means. The measurement result of the monitoring means, after a desired value comparison, is supplied to a signal means or is used for regulating the process.

  • Publication number: 20070202769
Abstract: A meltblown method for melt spinning fine non-woven fibers and a device for carrying out said method. According to the invention, a polymer melt is extruded, in order to form several fiber strands, through several nozzle bores of a spinning nozzle and twisted on the outlet side of the nozzle bores by means of a cold blow flow. According to the invention, the blow flow is fed to the fiber strands in an acceleration path wherein the fiber stands and the blow flow are accelerated in such a manner that the fiber strands are twisted in order to form continuous fine fibers. According to the inventive device, the inventive acceleration path is formed between the upper edges and the lower edges of the two blow nozzle openings below the spinning nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20030035855
Abstract: A spinning apparatus for extruding a group of filaments by means of an annular spinneret. An annular collection chamber is arranged upstream of the spinneret, which is provided with a plurality of nozzle bores. The collection chamber has an upper inlet area and a lower annular outlet area, which is connected to the upper inlet area. In the inlet area of the collection chamber a filter device is disposed, upstream of which is a melt feed. The inlet area of the collection chamber is formed by a plurality of filter chambers, which are each provided with a melt inlet and a melt outlet. The filter device has a plurality of substantially cylindrical filter elements, which are each provided with a powdered filter medium. One of these filter elements is assigned to each filter chamber. This ensures a large filtration area and deep bed filtration of the polymer melt.
