Abstract: Technologies and techniques for operating an operating device for a motor vehicle, in which a first touchscreen user input is received, characterizing a selection of a selection level, wherein a first selection level provides different adjustable driving modes as list participants, and a second selection level provides different adjustable ambience modes as list participants, one arranged by turning a ring element which circumferentially encloses the screen device, a second user input represented about an axis of rotation is received, which characterizes a selection of a list participant from a plurality of list participants in the chosen selection level. Depending on the first user input and/or the second user input, a control signal is provided characterizing a driving mode to be set and/or an ambience mode to be set in which a display of the driving mode and/or the ambience mode is triggered using the screen device.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle, in which an operating device is used to receive a user input that characterizes a selection of an ambient mode to be set from multiple predefined ambient modes, and in which a control apparatus is used to trigger the setting of a group of settings, represented by the selected ambient mode, in vehicle components of the motor vehicle that are predefined by the selected ambient mode, that are to be set, and that each provide a comfort function.

Abstract: An operating device for a motor vehicle, having a base element configured to be attached to an interior component, a screen device configured to display a driving mode and/or an ambient mode of the motor vehicle display, having a touch-sensitive surface configured to receive a first user input. Abstract: A display and operating unit for a machine in the tobacco-processing industry includes a visual display unit for the display of a graphic user interface consisting of a plurality of screen displays, and a computer which is designed to generate the graphic user interface by means of a computer program, essentially all the screen displays having at least the following regions: an operating region that can be operated by the operator for the display of a plurality of different operating-region displays that can be selected by the operator, with machine- and/or product-related display and operating elements; and a message region for the display of machine- or product-related stop and warning messages. The screen displays have at least one further region which includes machine- and/or product-related display and/or operating elements concerning the production mode, display of the further region being independent of the respectively selected operating-region display of the operating region.

A plurality of suction air channels connect an inner bearing space of the contact wheel and an outer surface of the contact wheel with a suction chamber of the suction strand conveyor belt and provide a permanent removal of tobacco dust.
