  • Publication number: 20020052279
Abstract: The invention relates to a set of at least three consecutive bags (2) in a succession, each bag having two closure strips (6) and a cursor (8) situated at a respective distance (d1, d2) from one end (10a) of the strips (6), the strips and the cursor being identical between the bags. Between the bags in each pair of adjacent bags, the said distances (d1, d2) are different.

  • Publication number: 20010038721
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing packaging bags having lateral bellows, the method being characterized by the fact that it comprises the stepsof forming respective cutouts (150, 160) in each of the two lateral, bellows-forming zones of a packaging bag sheet (100) so that the bag has only two thicknesses superposed at the mouth of said bellows, at least over a portion of its width; and heat-sealing (184, 186) the adjacent edges of the sheet to the peripheries of the cutouts (150, 160) to close the bag. The invention also provides apparatus for implementing the method and bags obtained thereby.

  • Patent number: 6131374
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of forming and closing bags, said method comprising steps consisting in delivering closure means comprising at least two complementary strips disposed on respective backing sheets, in delivering a film that is to constitute the walls of the bag, in heat-sealing a first backing sheet of the closure means to the film along at least one of the longitudinal edges of said sheet, with the closure means being angularly positioned transversely to the longitudinal direction of the film, in shaping the resulting film as equipped with the closure means into a tube, and in heat-sealing the second backing sheet of the closure means to an opposite face of the film along only one edge of said second sheet.

  • Patent number: 6088887
Abstract: The present invention relates to a bag having complementary closure strips (30, 40) actuated by cursor (50), the bag being characterized by the fact that it comprises means (60) adapted to ensure sealing between the inside walls of the bag when the bag is in its closed position, said means being in the zone of the bag underlying the strips (30, 40) at their end that receives the cursor (50) in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 6085491
Abstract: A tube of plastic material is cut at a bag length interval from a free end to define an open mouth. The free end is sealed to form a bag and a reclosable fastener strip is affixed to the open mouth after the tube is cut. Prior to affixing the reclosable fastener strip, but after the tube section is cut, the bag is moved away from the remainder of the tube. The side edges of the bag adjacent to the open mouth are slit and the slits and reclosable fastener strip are joined after the reclosable fastener strip is positioned in the slits. The bag may be filled after the free end of the tube is sealed but before cutting the bag length interval from the tube.
