    Abstract: A method of selectively metallizing only the phosphor regions of a pattern of phosphor regions and uncovered regions on a window portion of a cathode-ray tube. An electroless plating bath is used. A photosensitive layer which is exposed via the window portion prevents the phosphor grains from being enveloped by a metal layer.
