Abstract: A device suitable for manufacturing an optical registration carrier, such as a master plate, which device comprises a support for said optical registration carrier, at least a first and a second light source, wherein the wavelengths of the light from said first and said second light source are different from each other, as well as an objective disposed between said light sources and said support, which is movable with respect to said light sources. A correction lens is disposed between the first light source and the objective, which correction lens can be moved jointly with the objective. The focal points of the two light sources at least substantially coincide with various movements of the objective and the correction lens with respect to the light source.

Abstract: A method and a device for printing disc-shaped registration carriers, whereby a print built up of several colors is provided on the registration carrier. Use is made of a printing cylinder, which is moved over a few printing plates, which have been moistened with various colors of ink, whereby the printing cylinder is subsequently rolled over the registration carrier. The device comprises a plurality of processing stations for registration carriers, as well as a transport device by which the disc-shaped registration carriers can be moved from one processing station to the other processing station. One or more processing stations comprise a printing device disposed therein.

Abstract: An optical recording system wherein the record carrier is pre-recorded with adjustment information indicative of the waveform of the write signal (V.sub.s) to be employed for recording an information signal (V.sub.i) thereon. The recording apparatus includes a read/write head for reading the adjustment information before recording, and a control circuit for deriving the write signal (V.sub.s) from the information signal (V.sub.i). The control circuit includes an adjustment circuit which selects a write signal waveform in conformity with the adjustment information read from the record carrier.
