Abstract: An apparatus for separating substances of different flowability includes a housing base, a hollow drum having a perforated peripheral surface which is arranged on the housing base and is driven in a revolving manner, a continuous press belt pressed from outside against the hollow drum, while wrapping around a portion of the circumference of the hollow drum, and which, together with the hollow drum, forms an intake wedge for the material to be pressed. The press belt is mounted by at least one drive roller and at least one bearing roller, and is distinguished by the fact that the drive roller is mounted on a bearing support. The bearing support is arranged on the housing base so as to be adjustable in terms of position. A corresponding method is also provided for adapting the apparatus.

Abstract: A method for adaptive data visualization includes accessing business intelligence data stored in a database, providing an interactive web browser having a filter pane and a result display pane, the filter pane containing a list of characteristics and/or key figures, receiving a user's selection of a parameter associated with the characteristics or the key figures, adaptively filtering the accessed data the selection, where the first selection triggers the adaptive filter to filter the data, displaying results of the adaptive filtering in the result display pane, receiving a second selection from among the parameters, adaptively filtering the accessed data based on the first selection and the second selection, the second selection triggering the adaptive filter, and modifying the displayed results based on the adaptive filtering results of the first and the second selections. A system to implement adaptive data visualization and a computer readable medium containing executable instructions are also described.

Abstract: A system may include reception, from a planning application, of a spreadsheet including a plurality of values, presentation of the plurality of values, reception of a first instruction to change a first value of the plurality of values to a second value, presentation, in response to the instruction, of a visual indication in association with the second value, the visual indication indicating that the second value is a fixed value, reception of a second instruction to refresh the spreadsheet, and in response to the second instruction, determination of one or more of the plurality of values of the spreadsheet, each of the determined one or more of the plurality of values presented in association with a visual indication indicating that the value is a fixed value, and transmission of the determined one or more of the plurality of values and a request to refresh the spreadsheet to the planning application.

Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for manipulation of elements and their attributes in graphical user interfaces are described herein. A graphical layout comprising nodes and connections as a representation of data in a data source is displayed on a user interface. One or more nodes of the graphical layout are rendered to graphically represent manipulation operations performed by a user on one or more nodes of the graphical layout to create a new data source. The manipulation operations comprise at least one of selection of one or more nodes, changing an attribute, and changing connections between the nodes.
