  • Publication number: 20180056939
Abstract: An automotive security apparatus, comprising: a security-terminal, configured to receive security-location-information representative of a location of the automotive security apparatus or a vehicle key; and a vehicle-location-terminal, configured to receive vehicle-location-information representative of a location of a vehicle, a processor, configured to compare the security-location-information with the vehicle-location-information, and determine a security-condition-signal based on whether the location of the automotive security apparatus or the vehicle key is inside or outside of a predetermined-proximity of the location of the vehicle; and an output-terminal, configured to provide the security-condition-signal.

  • Publication number: 20170321655
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a group of wind turbines in a wind power plant coupled to a utility grid, comprising the steps of determining that a wind turbine should be deactivated in response to receiving a power curtailment command from the grid, and retrieving data from each wind turbine in the group of wind turbines. Further, the method no comprises ranking all the wind turbines according to a set of ranking criteria and based on the retrieved data, and selecting a wind turbine to be deactivated based on the ranking. Further, the steps of data retrieval and ranking of all the wind turbines including any deactivated wind turbines in the group are repeated at time intervals, and the wind turbine to be deactivated is re-selected based on this updated ranking.

  • Publication number: 20170292498
Abstract: The invention relates to a power plant controller for controlling wind turbine generators. More particularly, the invention relates to a method for compensating data obtained from measurements at a connection point to the grid in case of a communication failure where communication of such data is lost or becomes unreliable. The measured data are used in the power plant controller for determining setpoints for controlling the wind turbine generators' production of active and reactive power. In response to detection of a communication fault a new setpoint is determined independently of new measured grid data by reconfiguring parts of the power plant controller.

  • Publication number: 20170234299
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling a wind power plant, the wind power plant comprising a plurality of wind turbine generators, each wind turbine generator comprising at least one power converter for providing active power and/or reactive power to an electrical grid, wherein the method is determining a required amount of reactive power provided by the plurality of wind turbine generators, and grouping the plurality of wind turbine generators into a first set of wind turbine generators and a second set of wind turbine generators based on a demand for reactive power; and supplying reactive power to the grid (20) from the first set of wind turbine generators and disconnecting the second set of wind turbine generators from the electrical grid (20) in response to a control demand, in order to minimize active power losses. The present invention also relates to a wind power plant arranged to perform the method.

  • Patent number: 9165548
Abstract: A noise cancellation system for transporting a fluid (M) from an inlet in one space (RM1) to an outlet in another space (RM2). A noisy element(VF, HA), e.g. a ventilation fan (VF)or a turbulent noise source (HA),generates acoustic noise. A loudspeaker (L) with a diaphragm (D) is arranged such that a first side (S1) of the diaphragm (D) is in contact with the fluid (M) on a first side (P1) of the noisy element(VF), and a second side (S2) of the diaphragm (D) is in contact with the fluid (M) on a second side (P2) of the noisy element (VF). The loudspeaker diaphragm (D) is arranged to move substantially in anti-phase with at least a part of the noise generated by the noisy element (VF), hereby cancelling the noise from the noisy element (VF). The noisy element may be placed inside a duct system. Especially, the system may be a decentral ventilation system with a noisy ventilation fan (VF) for transporting air between two spaces, e.g. two rooms, or between one room and “free air”.

  • Publication number: 20150275862
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and a power plant controller arranged to carry out the method. The method is on an intelligent dispatching of the power production to wind turbines and optional compensation equipment of a wind power plant, as the power producing units of a wind power plant. The invention relates to a case where the requested produced power (both active and reactive) is less than the total capacity of the power plant, and the invention relates to utilizing this situation to dispatch set points to the wind turbines and the compensation equipment based on correction factors relating to the operating conditions of the wind park. This method may increase the wind turbines' life time, help in scheduling maintenance and expand the electrical operating range of the wind power plant.
